Rei medication?

Hi, Does anyone know why needs rei some medication?
at first i tought it was to help her to recover, but the medication is
always there (with the gendo glases) no matter how good or bad is she.

Considering that Rei is an untidy person, she probably just left any
remaining pills she had lying around once she had stopped taking the
painkillers...

I always assumed that it was part of her albinoism which is presumedly a
side effect of her being a composite clone. You never see her avoid being in
the sunlight so I thought it was related to that

I think on that, but then why they put that scene in chapter 14 during
Rei's introspeccion? Also note that you can read "Rei Ayanami" on it so
it seems something specificaly made for her.

Well, considering the fact that she's a clone, i.e. *not normal*, it
seems to make a lot of sense that she would need some meds just to stay
functioning normally. No clone is perfect, I always figured the pills
were there to make up for the parts they couldn't quite clone right.

Sedativa? Rei is very calm but some scenes show that she *can* be
aggressive. Perhaps the aggressive Rei is the true Rei...
