Anyone had anything to do with this camera or have any good/bad comments,
would like to hear them.
Thanks,
Norman
Does it come with a built-in AM Transistor Radio?
I think what Tesselator is trying to say is heritage, primary business and
optics. AKA the usual suspects like Nikon, Canon, Olympus. However, I use
a Sony 707 and it will hold its own (or surpass) the a fore mentioned.
Bottom lined is has Panasonic knocked the door down in the digicam market?
Think about it.
Yes.

Hmmm, me thinks you haven't owned it long or don't use it much...
Just holding the 707 in my hand I know a call to the service center
is just around the corner. And when I get it back from them 2 months
later I'll wonder why there's a fingerprint on the inside of the lens
or why there's 3 more dead pixels than there were before I sent it to
them. It won't matter tho because they don't garrentee thier support
work and probably when I get it back the warrentee will be up and the
bil to fix what they messed up will be about the same as ANOTHER FRIGGING
NEW CAMERA... Machusta (Panasonic) is no different. No thanks! I'll
pay 10$ more and get a camera camera with no engineered failure built
into the spec.
O :-)
But you're right... "Feature" for feature... The 707 and other junkers
like it, isn't that bad! And hey! They even print the word "Carl Zeiss"
on the rim. :) But maybe that's just so they could print MSRP $999
on the price sticker. :P
Hehhehee... Sony, Panasonic... For DCs? Phewy!

It is good looking camera, easy to use. They already delivered FZ2, but
differences are small. FZ1 has several problems,
slight focus error in 12 times zoom,
slow starter,
no automatic lens cap,
noisy picture except ISO 50,
2M pixcel is not so high.
Some pepole prefer Olympus C730 which gives better pictures.
If you are finding easy to use x12 zoom camera, FZ1 is the one.

Is it really bashing when it's based on truth?
Ya I guess it is... It's doesn't seem to mention
anything about being untrue or incorrect:
