Taken from the 2002 GAINAX 'Women of Eva' calendar - doesn't she look
absolutely stunning? I have to say that this is the best picture of
Misato I have ever seen.

It's not hardcore, but it gives me some incredibly filthy thoughts
about things I'd like to do with her. Ayanami-chan might be hawt, but
there is a heck of a lot to be said for a 'comfortable' woman with a
little bit of meat on her bones and nice big, soft breasts - or older
women in general for that matter.

To quote a (perhaps overused and indeed, inappropriate) 4chan Misato
meme - "MILF! MILF! MILF!"

Man, not this again. Now we just need goat's comment on this. Why is
she lying in a pool of blood anyway? Is that the result of goat's
sexplay?

I'm willing to believe that NERV includes blood in their paint
formulations... they frighten me. ~_~;;

I don't agree that much unfortunatly... I agree that the picture on its
own is pretty nicely drawn but the way her face is drawn makes it less
appealing.

In the serie there is a clear difference between Misato & Shinji. If you
cut the hair of this character its Shinji all over when looking from
this angle.

Still... this picture isn't the only one which has these features and
some people start telling me I'm too picky :P Oh well ;)

Well, the art is gorgeous, but the pose... meh. Misato is vastly more
attractive when she's looking sexy and confident, IMO. If I wanted

Okay then - how about this one (from the same calendar)? Misato looks
a lot more sure of herself here. She also has nice, firm, very
suckable-looking nipples poking through that bra... ^_^

As a bonus, you might also want to check this one out too. I'm not
normally a fan of Mogudan's Ayanami, but he's made her look absolutely
stunning here (as well as capturing her character perfectly). It's
only line art, but IMO this is one of the best pictures of Rei ever...

A shame, really. It strengthens her character. Where's Ethan to shake his
fist at those who'd homogenize our standard of beauty?

BTW, a female friend of mine was, in younger days, a dead ringer for Misato
right down to the scar. When I first saw that on screen I just had to get
myself a videocap of it and send it to her

(Several comments spring immediately to mind. From queries as
to how you knew about the scar, to if her father was an
explorer in the Antarctic, to a request for her address. But
the one that rises to the top is, did she have the purple
highlights in her hair, too?)

I am sure if there are people who like to be choked while doing the nasty
then
the scar is probably a fetish for some people A FETISH!!!! One of those
people being Kaji which is why she keeps the scar, and now you know the
rest of the backstory.

I think the scar makes her look vulnerable, which is very sexy.

And you, of all people, shouldn't be talking about fetishes, Ethan.:)

By any chance, did you also notice if her bra size was 32E? ;)

Well, I visited her a lot at the hospital where she got it in the 80s :)
And she was a good sport about letting her friends check out her healing
progress

Actually, very positive -- and interested in seeing more of it!Alas, I
couldn't for the life of me find any material on-line where Misato's scar
was *clearly* visible. It's as if once it was established in the series
that she had suffered some sort of massive wound, then all the art was
geared towards ignoring it. Then again all professional pictures of my
friend (she does some modeling and acting on the side) also manage to
conceal *her* scarring quite effectively.

I know the answer but decline to provide it the grounds it would incriminate
me and, more importantly, she'd hurt me badly next time she runs into me.
Let's just say that support was an important consideration in her wardrobe.
And that she has shown up in B-videos.

Further similarities:
Apartment = domestic disaster zone
Packs handgun

Dissimilarities:
Can actually prepare meals
No penguins in sight

Helping a recovering wounded person apply cocoa butter to ease the healing
process and soften the scar tissue earns you a ton of points here on earth,
and quite a few indulgences above. Trust me. Plus everyone ends up smelling
like chocolate.

I wonder if a liberal application of fresh semen could be helpful to
the healing process too? All that protein couldn't *hurt* after all...

Having looked through my extensive collection, I've only got a few
pics that:

a) show her scar clearly
b) actually look like Misato

Hope these are useful to you...

You'd better do something to make it a non-exact match. Hmmmmm... I

You should be complimented, as Kuririn is possibly the most powerful
human in all of anime. AND is married to possibly the most powerful
babe in all of anime.

Modern Kuririn has been shown with hair. I prefer him bald, to tell
the truth.

I suspect, truth to tell, you probably stand something over 3'6",
which is what Kuririn appears to sit around.

But he gets so little camera time, and none of the good parts after the
Namek-sei arc.

And he acts like a wuss, despite his power.

The art quality's not as good, but the personality's a bit more

don't go for lacey lingerie). Pity about the scar missing, though - I

Well, Rei isn't my kind of girl at the best of times, despite how
creepy-cute she is. I generally like Mogudan's illustrations of her,
though, probably because he draws her so on-model and gets those
lovely blank expressions so right

He got good screen time in the Garlic Junior storyline, but I know
what you mean. He became... A LOSER! Like Yamucha!

As I've said before, the real tragedy of DBZ characters is that the
THIRD string characters, dropped into virtually ANY other universe,
would be the most staggeringly powerful beings ever to walk the
cosmos. (Imagine, if you will, Vega-Sama (Street Fighter II) VS
Yamucha or Kuririn. Or even Fatal Fury's Mars incarnate.)

Well, in my wife's fanfic The Machine, Kuririn and Yamucha get
good screen time -- and the Little Bald One gets one of the biggest
scenes of all.

There was a paper in England, many years ago, which ran a regular
contest in which a particular person would be visiting some location.
The first person to recognize that person could win five pounds (which
was worth a bit more then) just by going up to them and saying "You
are (name) and I claim my five pounds."

Thus the habit on Usenet, whenever you "recognize" someone as being
someone outlandish, of saying the same phrase.
