I heard about that a couple days ago. The song is quite catchy,
actually. And far less annoying than the previous corporate-song-
turned-national-fad that I was introduced to, _O-sakana
Tengoku_...
I have a sample mp3 if anyone is interested, but I bet that if you
looked hard enough, you could find a full version.

That kicks ass.
Now if they would use that money to get some real anime to go with it.

Nice idea, but the music is totally wussified. I was hoping for something
that would make *me* want to go out and break some buildings. This song
makes me want to put on my Fonzie outfit and do the mashed potato.
Last weekend, I saw some street performers do some of the best angst-ridden
post-industrial metal I have seen from a Japanese band. But the f@ckers
didn't have their name anywhere, no fliers, nothing. Then when their set was
over, they packed up and high-tailed it out of there. Then the next band had
their turn, and it was more Elvis Presley sings punk.

Fonzie was cool and would never do the mashed potato. Richie
Cunningham maybe but not Fonzie.
Yeah, but Fonzie hung out with Richie and acknowledged the existence
of Potsie and Ralph. That makes him tainted goods when it comes to
cool.

Ahh, I saw that two days ago, but I skipped over it as nothing came
out in Opera and I couldn't be bothered pasting into Explorer to see
what it was!

Out of there? How far could they go? Its an island ffs - street
performers don't fly, and shirley everyone is either related or knows
everyone else?

I am not who I think I am
I am not who you think I am
I am who I think you think I am
...or some such shite.
Oh, I'm sure I could find them. I mean, there are only a handful of clubs
playing that type of music on the island. The problem is, I would have to
sit through a lot more Elvis-singing-punk impersonations until I found them.
The fact that they just came on, did a few songs, and then took off, without
even announcing their name, made me wonder if they are actually playing
anywhere. Except they were pretty good, so they must at least have a nice
garage to practice in (or the Okinawan equivalent thereof).
