Just skip those messages! I have received them for the past 10 years...
first by snail mail, then by email (2 to 5 any given week). These "one-man
enterprises" change their names frequently and operate out of various
African states, and England. I can only tell from email addresses and
phone/fax numbers.
Half of them play the Christian card ('God bless you' and such), and I am
truly amazed how well known I am in Japanese embassies around the world.
Even 'Mrs. Kobayashi' of the Japanese embassy in Niger has recommended me as
a very trustworthy person where the other part can upload 26 million US$...
For a year or so I am replying with a canned message, telling the guy to
shove his Jesus up his whatever.... and that I am a devout Muslim. I think
the result is that I get even more of these messages than less.
There are a couple of goodies among the letters, too. A letter from the
widow (Myriam Abacha) of the previous Nigerian scum president, or
handwritten letters from two girls who desperately need 300 US$ to pay for
their tuition (sawing school) in order to take care of their grandparents
(parents have died of Aids). 'God praise the Lord' can be found in ever
third line.
Sorry, but you either need to digest this spam, or you smash your
computer...
Sigi
One thing has improved, however: The letters written with the stuck Caps
Lock key are becoming rare.

You can't, short of changing your e-mail address. You could send them
along to <http://spamcop.net/>, but all that will do is inconvenience
the perp (not necessarily Nigerian, nor an executive) for long enough
for him to get a new address.

If you want a reply by e-mail, don't write to my Yahoo address!
You could try using Choicemail from digiportal. It's very simple but
very effective.
I got this for you:
Category : Software for Internet > AntiSpam - Standalone program
Software : ChoiceMail One
OS : Windows XP,2000,ME,95,98
Email Client : Outlook,Outlook Express,Eudora and web-based email
Awards : PC Magazine - 4/5 rating - May 2003
Infomation : DigiPortal Software offers ChoiceMail One, anti spam
software that gives you a new way to deal with junk email, or spam.
Rather than maintaining a huge and ever-changing list of rules to try
to block junk email messages based on their headers or body content,
or trying to analyse all your incoming messages, ChoiceMail instead
requires senders to register before they can send you email. This
process is completely automatic, and you are not disturbed until
somebody actually submits a registration request.
Incoming messages from senders unknown to you are held up and the
sender is asked to fill in a form explaining why he or she wants to
contact you. If senders do not register after a set period, their
messages are quietly deleted. You are not disturbed.
Existing senders in your address book can be automatically imported
into ChoiceMail so that they are preapproved. ChoiceMail also
preapproves anyone to whom you first send a message.
Total Reviews : 0. We invite all spam combaters to try this challenge
response spam blocking based on whitelist and blacklist filtering. Its
got quite a good review from the PC Magazine folks. Try the trial
download yourself and let us know if this antispam is the solution you
are looking for.
Hey thanks. Although it sounds a bit excessive, it'll work.
