Some links with rental rates for various sizes of bikes. I think you
will probably decide that riding the trains and buses is more
economical than renting a bike (at least for anything over 50cc).

Thank you mr. Cash. The last link led me to a scooter rental place in
Osaka which is promising. And now I know I can rent a scooter for
11,800Yn a month w/3manYn deposit.
Also those links got me started on some internet browsing and i came
across motorcycles for sale, more particularly a Honda 250cc which
would be ideal if licensing and ins. are reasonable.
