I have my George Gregan voodoo doll ready to go and the alarm set for 5:30
in the morning.
Prolly won't need the doll. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Puma
pack is going to be shunting that young light strayan pack backwards all
over the park all evening. And I'm not entirely convinced that God is a
back.

I am now fairly convinced that God is a back. Nite Jason.

I am fairly convinced that the Pumas will go back to their usual
between-RWC-upsets & RWC-letdown cycle. Looks like the Irish lads should go
through to the semi-final.
Any doubt I had about Australia not repeating as champions is gone. Neither
team impressed much.
Watching them against Romania they seem to have a few cobwebs, despite
11 tests this year. Top 4? Maybe. I'll be happy with any excuse for a drink.

No team has ever defended the WC successfully, nor had the chance to do
so at home. I'll be happy with a top 4 finish.
and if they all just fought each other and died... wouldn't really matter
either.
Well it would matter to some. I guess it would depend on the spread
betting and how much of a wager I put on. You'd get pretty long odds
betting on one fatality. The chances of two complete squads dying during
the course of a match would be a hell of a long shot.
I'd say close the gates and shoot any that try and escape. Come back in a
month to check in on 'em. That's just me though.
