I own all of the eva DVDs plus the two movies and watched them over too
many times to count. My problem is I cant move on to another series!
Everything else doesnt seem as good and I find myself going back to watching
Eva. Anyone else have that problem?

I love Eva... it's just so awesome.

Here are some new series you might like/be interested in
Noir(soon on dvd from advfilms)
Chobits(not sure who is releasing this)
Robotech(ok so it's not new...but it's still pretty awesome)

There are a lot of series that are as good as NGE. Noir is worth a look. It's
just recently been released. Cowboy Bebop is fantastic. Berserk is one of my
faves as well as Trigun and Helsing. If one of these series doesn't get and
hold your interest...well...I would guess that there might be another issue as
to why nothing else is interesting.

Take a look at both Crest of the Stars and Banner of the Stars.
Both have deep personal stories and lots of technobable: They regularly get
compared to Star Trek. COTS available in full, BOTS Vol. 1 available, Vol 2
comming soon. From Bandai! Also try Escaflowne, also from Bandai!

Two thumbs WAY way up!

on to.

If you like your mechs, try anything from the Gundam franchise - Gundam Wing
(yeah I know its AC etc etc) is a good short intro, even though it doesn't
really compare to UC Gundam stuff. Cowboy Bebop you have to see.. its just
that good. Love Hina's 'bout the funniest thing I've seen in a long time,
followed closely by Burn-Up... someone mentioned Hellsing, which is really
stylish in its own little way. Full Metal Panic is one of the newer ones..
its a bit brainless at times, but still enjoyable if you like your mecha=)

As for Escaflowne.. <looks at Vaughn>.. well it started off well, but they
lost a lot of faith when it came to the "intensified luck soldiers".
Seriously. That's just stupid.^-^

Wing is deadly as well , I have all those taped off from TV hehe plus the
movie. Well thanks for the suggestions. Maybe I should download the first
ep's of some series of kazaa or something. Thats how I found eva! Now if
only I DIDN'T have 56k....

Not much more so than the whloe Fate Alteration Engine thing. Dumb thing
did'nt even work. Really... not one soldier in that huge battlefield wished
he was back home with his wife and kids?
Oh well the climatic battle was really cool anyway.

Well, what do you expect when you combine a TARDIS with an Infinite
Improbability Drive?

Should I be worried that I know both of those references without even
jogging my memory.

Ever heard of a game show called "Beat the Geeks"?

It runs on Comedy Central, here in the US. They have a Movie Geek, A Music
Geek, A TV Geek, and a special guest Geek (Star Trek, Star Wars, Comic Book,
Friends, etc) Even the host is a geek. They DO have a hot chick, though, who
seems to go for geeks (of course, she might just be paid well.)

Gasaraki, cowboy bebop, outlaw star, trigun, spriggan, berserk, bastard
(funny), Jin Roh (very dark in regards to view of humanity) here and there, now
and then (is a nice war statement), ... there are lot's of shows and one can be
uncertain as to what to try. I have found most of those good with Cowboy Bebop
and Trigun high on my list of fav's. Gasaraki, is very political. Berserk is
great for bloody stuff and it has some excellent character devel. Spriggan has
some superior animation and action though the story isn't as in depth as say
Akira (manga). Any of Nausicaa, princess mononoke, spirited away are great.
anyway that's my bit on more serious ones, then there is the fun of Slayers,
those who hunt elves, trigun (agian), GTO, Rougin Z, ... I guess I could go on.
But my fingers, my fingers!

Ahhh so many to choose from! I have 2 Gasaraki DVDs and it seems really
cool, but I cant afford to buy the rest at the moment. I upgraded my
computer and im taking a young drivers course which cost me over $400
canadian altogether ack! I still got around $30 left so im going to try and
get Akira off eBay today, that should tide me over for a couple weeks. Has
anyone ever bought one of those 3 disc Cowboy Bebop DVD set on eBay? Its
cheapness is appealing but im afraid its quality might be junk.

The 1st dvd of Neo Ranga is really promising. Same with Noir. You can pass
on RahXhephon(from 1 dvd), Ex-driver, and avoid Devil Lady completly

By the by to any SE Pa. people, The theater in Doylestown Pa (next to the
courthouse ) is showing Spirted Away this weekend, lots of showings.
