You are misapplying the term "japanese". Those who mimic whites do not
apply to that term. They are supposed to be called as tokyojaps or
kobejaps, the honorary whites who have been allowed to enter into the
US. The term "japanese" rather refers to those un-westernized
Kansaijin who are not interested in mimicing whites.

Why do people watch アニメ which was created by a Japanese person and then
complain that they "travel abroad to mimic whites, yet they only talk among

themselves in their own language, and are generally racist towards people in
their own nations"?

racist? dude, that's just the old timers like baby boomers and such,
most of us, (60's,70's,'80s) are generally pretty open and not
racist.)

btw, yes indeed we do mimic the western culture because that's how
MOST cultures are today. Goto Singapore or Malaysia, that's even more
westernized and talk only among themselves in their own language? well
duh! if that's the only language you can speak what the hell do you
expect! and if you're a Japanese-Canadian or Japanese-American, you
tend to hang around with the locals more than people inside your own
race. Next time do some REAL research buddy you don't know anything
about the perspective of us Japanese so DO NOT talk for us as we do
not have any problems doing so ourselves.

No way, What is your aim to state such a silly lie?
Definitely most Japanese are racists. Those who were born in 70's,
80's would be more racists than elders, I think. They dress like
westerners but they never actually communicate with westerners. And
they, especially those tokyojaps or kobejap type people extremely look
down on their own Japanese civilization. That's quite ugly. At this
point, Matt is right. Most Japanese are sick bigots. Japanese have a
strange contradictory logic that mimicing western things is right but
talking to westerners is wrong...something like that.

> btw, yes indeed we do mimic the western culture because that's how

I've never been able to figure out the Japanese slant on racism. While it's
undoubtedly true that there is some sort of "racism" (or at least rampant
nationalism shadowed only by the current sepponian version) in most
Japanese, it's not your KKK type of "let's hang this buck from that thar
tree!" type of racism. It's more like "We're Japanese and you're not!" type
of thang.

It's there, but I can't figure it out.

Ah! As I sit here, sleepless, I wonder who would I *least* like to share my

Of course we have our own identity but that's what's in the past we
became the strongest country in asia in terms of economy at one point
because we don't drag the past with us. We progressed and we knew that
the western way would lead to success and it's not as we've ditched
our own cultural identity completely. Just look at the Hong Kong
Cantonese, they did the same thing and I don't hear you complaining
about them copying westerners.

Here's something to think about also, whenever a western idea reaches
asia, we do it our style even if we get westernized we are still going
to be different than the west because we think differently.

btw, whining and bitching about us isn't going to bring change. Second
of all, you're basically being a hypocrit by calling us all racists.
Isn't racist to say that a specific race hates all races?
