Newbie needs suggestions

I need a small compact digital camera to create photos for use on E-bay.
I would also use this camera for some outdoor photography. A zoom lens
would be preferable. I would prefer something that is very simple to use as I
am technologically challenged! I was looking at the Fuji 2600/50 series. They
seem pretty easy to use but they have some some features, (webcam?, etc)
that I'd probably never use. Can somebody suggest a good inexpensive
simple camera that would suit my purpose?

A good web site I have found for digital camera comparisons is
www.imaging-resource.com . They have a section called "Dave's Pic's" where
cameras are listed by catagory with lots of info and pricing. Hope this
helps.

Well Kissshot,
I've got a Minolta Di7 and a Fuji 2650 and I'm amazed how well it stands up
in comparison. The Fuji will fill you needs well - simple, 3 x zoom, great
image quality and light battery use
