Sakura Avalon was originally Sakura Kinomoto Li Showron was originally

Keroberos (Kero)is unchanged
Madison Taylor was orginally Tomoyo Daidoji Tori Avalon was originally
Kinomoto Toya Julian Star was originally Yukito Tsukishiro Meilin Rae
was originally Meilin Li
Aiden Avalon was originally Fujitaka Kinomoto Natasha Avalon was
originally Nadesiko Kinomoto Layla Mackenzie was originally Kaho Mizuki

4. Why did you change the names of some of the characters from the
original Japanese version?
Cardcaptors is directed at an English-speaking audience. Many fans are
children. Some of the original character names are difficult for
English-speaking children to pronounce. The new character names are as
similar to the original as possible while at the same time allowing
children to identify with the characters and ensuring the names are
memorable and simple.

??? Really?, In Japanese, Katakana spelled Ker(u)berosu.
Nickname Kero-chan was OK. (^^)

By Katakana web search (infoseek.co.jp) I found spelled Cerberus.

May be Greek?. Not found in English Dic. And French cerbere found.

But I'm not sure at Cerberus == `Kero in CCSakura' .

I was surprised that Miss Madison Taylor(Tomoyo) became
"the Cyber u--nn high-tech girl (^^;;" much more than
the original more than a name's changing.

Tomoyo, as for liking clothes-making of SAKURA, it didn't change, I was
releved(^o^)

When Tomoyo and SAKURA talk about the Madison's video camera ,
the topic of the chrominance reduction function of the video camera is that
it appeared
as for my having attracted interest specially.
I listened many times and again because what was said or it didn't know
Madison first.(^^;;;

In the 2nd story, Kero plays with the video game. But, that screen was still
Japanese(^^;;

I'm looking forward. to it as well "SAKURA's american version !!
