Hello Surfers,

Well I hope that everybody will find somes waves this week end.

You know perhaps a particular area in France that's call Britanny...
Somes posts speaks about in alt.surfing...
It's a nice and friendly landscape, I decided to do a watercolor
report to show the atmosphere of how could be a session in Brittany...
Of course the language is in French, but I think that's no problem to
understand how it could be...

Click on English language
Click on Surf menu
Click on Trip Surf Notes
Click on Session Illustrated Notes of 9/02/2002

Wait a little after the zoom click, it's downloading...

Well I hope that you will enjoy with my work...

Big Aloha from France.

Bruno.

The pics are kind of nice, but the waves
don't look 'right'.
Bruno, you are a beginning surfer, n'est ce' pas?

No, I am not a beginner... But this session is the mirror of what we
have sometimes in North Shore of Brittany... This day was nearly
1m-1m50 in longboard... I enjoyed myself with thoses waves since
several years now... This spot is a nervous one and it's very
difficult to manage the take off with a longboard...
But perhap's that you should say : you are not very good... I could
answer yes I am not very skilled... But sorry definively I am not a
rookie...

nice watercolors, nice layout with the writing, lots of good blues
( a little hard to read the writing, not a lot of contrast with the backround,
but I get the "picture" and understand some french).

merci

What part of France do you
call Brittany, Bruno?

How long have you been painting?

I like your web page.

Well this is the West Part of the France... It's with the town that
you coul easily check on map : Brest, Rennes... This area looks like a
big pic towards the Altlantic... There is the North Shore with Channel
Sea, the Peak where is Brest town, and the south With Altantic
Ocean... This is a Marine Tradition land...

> How long have you been painting?

I don't know it seems to be there since ever... Progressively I used
to paint still the childhood... I had some marine period and blank but
when I discover surf I mixed my two passions together... because when
you paint you must be passionate...And then I never stop painting
surfing and all subject that reflect the surf spirit...

Thanks. :-)
