On behalf of Karen, and sitting behind her keyboard
(ab)using her keyboard, here's my first impressions
with regard to yesterday's Green Man meet. As usual
please feel free to add your own impressions or any
remarks you feel making as a follow-up to this post
or in a separate thread.

It was nice to see all of those again that I hadn't
seen in quite a long time. I was especially curious
about the mistery guest Karen had announced to me -
which turned out to be Bjorn Bjorn Bjornjornsonson.
Yes, all the way from Iceland on a mission to leave
London completely without any DVDs in a single shop
anywhere. Also present was Natty Meyer, now a happy
resident of the parish, over from the US. A Special
token mention of furriness possibly can just barely
be made for Ailbhe - but really for the last time!!

It was really nice to be able to see new faces such
as James Green, Mike Gavin, Lucy, Corinne - I think
it was the first Green Man for all of these; plus a
host of old lags: Andy Davison, Simon Callan, Barry
'Camera-man' R., Gideon 'Unlabelled Climbing Frame'
Hallett plus a selection of other usual 'culprits'.

Kimmi and Guitar Hew were back for a second time at
the Green Man, proving we were not too intimidating
first time around. A few regulars could not make it
due to winter bugs (*sympathy*), family obligations
(*better luck next time*) or exotic holidays (*bah,
humbug*). On behalf of Karen, I want to give thanks
to Aquarion for providing Small Nomes Entertainment
Gadgets. Now, if you'll excuse me, I will just give
you the full cast list and stop trying to write brick text.

Good to know. Oh, and when you copy and paste the list from my post onto
your webpage, would you mind correcting the speling mistakes?

Ta frightfully old bean,

Furry? Oh, I see.

I don't insist on being labelled furrin, really, but last time, someone
who had moved to the UK long before me was labelled furrin and I wasn't,
boohoo.

I think we managed not to take or appear in any pictures.
