Believe what you will. I'm entitled to my own beliefs, too. I am
basing my conclusion on previous, malicious behavior wherein was
revealed some rather homophobic attitudes. Which particular messages I
have saved for posterity.

Ummm, but it didn't happen to one of the best. These sort of things
don't happen to anyone who keeps up-to-date with antivirus technology.
One may still obtain for free, a quality antivirus program that keeps
up with the best of 'em...but with far less glitches than either
Macafee or Norton. Here's the URL for the free program:

These days, it is quite easy to spread a virus or worm or Trojan
horse, via your own e-mail...and pretend innocence.

Unlikely to occur. I have trapped over 11 viruses in the past several
weeks, that tried to pass into my system, via e-mail, cookies, or
pings. They all failed. I also run Zero Alarm's firewall, also free
from:

I have been a computer consultant (part time) since 1987, and an
Internet consultant since 1996. I started a hacker group in Berkeley,
called "Berkeley Unix User Group", and a hacker-friendly message board
on the web.

I know how viruses work. That includes the human kind.

You may be interested in reading my proposal for forming an effective
network against viruses, in the Sept. 1988 issue of MicroCornucopia,
at:

http://netjunk.com/users/gaybible/share/microcor.htm

This was in the "early years" of PC popularity. Since my proposal, all
effective anti-virus programs have incorporated my suggested
technique, in one form or another. Was I the originator, or just
parallel to numerous other computer buffs, for whom such a solution
seemed obvious? I don't know that, yet. I do know that an author of a
computer magazine was intrigued enough by my ideas, as to ask
permission to quote me extensively, for his article.
