Homepage Weirdness

When I launch IE6 it doesn't take me to my homepage. Instead it shows the
following message:

Action canceled
Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page
might be temporarily unavailable.

If you have visited this page previously and you want to view what has been

When I hit reload, it sends me to my page. Also, when I click on a link that
opens a new window, it just opens a window and I have to hit reload in order
to show that page. Anyone have a solution to this?

The next time it happens, go to the file menu and see if 'work offline' is turned on. If it is, follow the advice below:

Try increasing IE's timeout.

The answer will work for IE5 as well.

I'm still having no luck with the problem. It doesn't seem to happen when I
use IE5.5. Is there anything different on how they handle homepages?
