I have a TP 560x, and am trying to install NS3.3 on it. I know that this can
be done, but I don't know if it can be done in my situation.
I have an IBM IDE CD-ROM drive connected via a PCMCIA card. I also have a
fairly generic 10Base-T PC card device.
I can get to the point in the install where the system reboots into the 'rom
monitor'-type window, but I can't get any further, as it can't find the
CD-ROM device to mount the root FS. Does anyone know what driver I need for
the CD-ROM drive?
(So far I've tried dual EIDE/ATAPI and normal EIDE/ATAPI)
Thanks for the help.

Spell Andrew correctly for email.
Please post any helpful info, I am having similar problems with a
Thinkpad i-series 1410.
Can an install be done just with floppy + CD or should I do a
net-install ? Is that easy to do ?
Thanks,
A. Gautier
