Very interesting screenshots. Are there some technical information
available?
Andre
No not yet, but this is the first info we see about this project. It's heavy
under development. But the first screenshots look good. I hope the preview
for this game will be released soon...

Woo-hoo! F'ing awesome looking! What rez. will the game be in?
(These are TINY screenshots, so it's hard to tell)

Geez, Bill, you're losing your touch.
They look like GTIA 16-shade mode (Graphics 9). I guess the pictures are in
such low resolution because they don't look much better in higher res :)

Well, I guessed as much (since the GIF screenshots were about 80 across),
but it's a shame to lose the verticle resolution. I wanna see 320x200
screenshots with nice, big long pixels. :)
Also, is the 9-color mode really just plain 'ol 9-color mode (aka
OS "GRAPHICS 10" mode in BASIC)?
And WHEN can we see a demo!? :) Anything!

Will there be more than one opponent? Do you use PM-graphics for the
weapon seen on one of the screenshots?
Thanks,
Andre
Looks squishingly good. ;) After having seen some of the wonderful
effects demos done in that special screen mode,I was wondering when
someone was going to try to implement them into gameplay. Kudos and
good luck to the coders, artists and everyone involved! :)

Will there be a multilink version? So you can hook up to 8 computers
together and play together/against each other?

Personally, I'd probably do it in a character mode, to simplify
draws/redraws, especially since you're dealing with straight lines. Mind
you, that would work best with a "Wolfenstein" type game that's only 2D
(vice the 2 1/2 in Doom). Doing in in the 40x24 4 colour mode would also
give you some flexibility in terms of player priorities (hide the enemies
behind walls, show them through other places).
Using two players per enemy gives you two three-colour enemies onscreen at
once without resorting to any twiddling; the missiles would still be
available for shooting etc.
I just hope this isn't another "2600 DOOM" situation (look at
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Arcade/8691/2600DOOM.HTM for more
details on that)

I think the enemies are blitted just like the rest of the 3D graphics.
Probably not P/M Gfx. Of course, the authors would have the definitive
answer. :)

Sure. :-))

No.
Maybe in the future...
No, it isn't a fake.
