Hi,
It appears that I will be in London for St. Patrick's w/e (that is the
14th of March to the 18th of March) and I was wondering if anyone might
want to venture out and have a drink. I'm not 100% sure what my schedule
is for the w/e but I'm sure I could find the time to enjoy the company of
whatever afpers will be in the area. I'm arriving on the Friday morning
and leaving Tuesday morning. So, any suggestions?

Enjoy,
B.

YES! I will be in from the US (Merkia to you folk) and I was
anxiously awaiting some type of afpmeetish type thingy. Friday or
Saturday, either is fine. Now can we find a pub and really good directions
for the London clueless, i.e. Yours Truly? I'm leaving this Friday
(7 March) so we need to hurry... Anyone else want to get involved?

PS What do you mean by "a drink"? I didn't know they were sold
individually... :)

SOunds like a good move to me. I may even make this one without getting
really shitty messages from my boss telling me to go to Forn Parts at
short notice.

Yeah, count me in for that. I wanted to pick on Brian anyway...

OK, well, seeing that the Podlings birthday party is also that w/e... hmm...

I'm not sure what the arrangements are for that but if some person who
actually knows London could suggest an eatery/drinkery I will soon get
back to you with some sort of exactness...

Are there anyother arrangements made for the b-day other than Hamley's at
2:30 on the 15th?

Well, from what I remember, a good number (or at least two depending on
how well Alien's message was responded to) will be in London on the 15th,
meeting at Hamley's in Regent Street, if I'm not mistaken.

Alien, you can fill in the rest!

'A Drink' is not a noun (1), but a verb, implying continuous action (2).

(1) As it is popularly supposed to be, be foolish folk...
(2) Kind of like 'A Run', only more expensive (3).
(3) Unless you live in Tokyo (4).
(4) You live in Tokyo? What's the weather like at the moment (5)?
(5) No, there is no point to all of these footnotes (6).
(6) Really (7).
(7) There we go...seven (8).
(8) A number which comes between 16 and 18, not 6 and 8 (1).

Someone, please pick a place and time... I'm headed for London
tomorrow, and I won't have access. I really don't want to miss this, so
we need to get organized!

OK, decision time. The Podling's b-day meet is 2:30 Hamley's on Regent
St. on Saturday 15th, so why don't we all meet then? AFAIK no definite
plans have been made so we can meet, and decide and maybe do something
strange like go for a meal or to a pub...

Does everyone like these ideas?
