After trading some labor for parts, i now have a pile of stuff
in my basement that I hope to turn into a functioning bike.

The frame is a Nikishi Sebring of unknown vintage. Allegedly has
4130 Cr-Mo tubes, according to the sticker.

I have several sets of cranks, of varying lengths. The set i want
to use has a Sakae "Silstar" right crank, and a Shimano left crank.
(the Shimano crank is black, thus adding to the bike's, um, image...)

they are both 165 mm.

the wheels are 700C, with Alesa (from Belgium) rims and Maillard hubs.
The rear hub has a Shimano Sante twist-tooth 7spd unit of some kind, but
originally had an Aris freewheel.

the best derailleurs i have are a front Shimano FD-TY25, the rear is an
RD-L532

The front brake that fits is a Dia-Compe, and the rear is a Tong Cheng.

is it at all possible to make these parts work with each other?

please email wa...@superior.net with any ideas, advice, scorn, or
similar stories!
