True enough. The lack of concern by Nader-voters, for the damage a "W"
presidency will do to gay people--as well as wiccans and pagans--is
absolutely shameful.

Not only should Nader voters hang their heads in shame...but likewise
for those wiccans/pagans whose concern did not include their own gay
sisters and brothers...as if the gay issue were not one of great
importance to the world.

And gay people. God forbid you should ever include us gays in your
concerns!

I have predicted Bush will win, long before anyone ever believed he
would (on Sept. 20, to be exact). I saw he'd win, because many
democrats would vote for Bush instead of Gore, because of their hatred
of gay people. Homophobia is not limited to the Republicans...it also
remains prevalent among democrats of the bible belt/deep south. And
due to the Vermont gay marriage issue, we tend to identify gay rights
with the democratic party.

The lack of other (non-gay) minorities to show any concern whatsoever
for gay people, is the main reason Bush won. Very rarely, does any
minority care to reach out to its own gay members. Thus, the karmic
dues must eventually be paid for such tacit bigotry, and wiccan/pagan
groups are no exception (even though I would have prefered this to be
so). While wiccans/pagans tend to have a lot less homophobia than
Christian groups, they still hold a considerable reserve of gay
hatred, but are in denial of this sorry fact.

So when Bush starts rounding up gays will you still remain silent? I
think so...and it will only be when Wiccans and other minorities get
attacked, will you begin to squeal. And those who remained silent when
gays are attacked, shall deserve their own demise. (Meanwhile, we gays
will have a place of refuge this time around, instead of becoming once
more, the sad scapegoats of others' ignorance.)

And you, too, for showing NO CONCERN WHATSOEVER for the plight of your
own gay brothers and sisters. You seem to have forgotten that gay men
and women hold great influence and participation in the wiccan world.

Same to you, Caliban. What goes around comes around.

I don't consider sexual discrimination among gays a "craft" issue,
more a human rights issue. I don't include human rights when
addressing earth/environment concerns since humans are the ones
responsible.

You jump to too many conclusions here.
