on my links page, and I regard it as a very important presence
on the web.
We need to hear more gay voices of outrage...and rapidly
develop a far more agressive policy of gay resistance. I

Okay, many of us gays and pro-gays are tired of being censored
whenever we open our mouths for gay equality. Many of us would
prefer to contribute our ideas anonymously on the
Internet...real anonymity, that is, absolutely cannot be
traced back to you. This includes anonymous newsgroup posting,
e-mail, and anonymous web browsing.
For a measly $14 one-time fee, one can have access to all the
anonymity tools you'll need...via a user friendly instruction
site dedicated to ensuring online privacy. Go to this site:

people who run this service, nor am I getting any money for
promoting them. This is a genuine political alert.)
How to get your anonymous access is all there. I sent my check
by snail-mail, and it took only one week for them to sign me
on. Once on, use your password to log onto their helpful
pages...that teach you, among other things, how to access news
servers for free, and use them anonymously. There is a bit of
a learning curve in learning to use remailers and free news
servers, and such stuff...but the educational resources on
this service are quite readable, and worth the time.
My main concern is participating in newsgroups without
constantly being threatened with cutting off my Internet
acess...there're a lot of nasty homophobes out there.
Homophobes, especially the Religious Reich, already use
anonymous services to thwart gay participation in newsgroups,
as well as to threaten their livelihood and lives. Why should
they hold a monopoly on anonymous, untraceable sabotage of a
(basically innocent) group of people? Fight back! Bash back!
This is not to espouse illegal sabotage of known
homophobes...even though they do this themselves, all the time
(in God's name for Chrissake!). This is only to make you aware
you don't have to take it...and there are ways to fight back
without having your own life threatened.
