What they are REALLY all about.

Welcome to the Queer War Society Home Page. This site was created as
an attempt to educate those in our community who are still slavishly
adhering to capitalist, hetero Amerikan ideology about the struggle for
complete liberation of all of our queer kin. As most of us already know,
capitalism breeds greed and homophobia, government exists solely by making
servile its citizens; placing restrictions on individual freedom, guiding
moral standards, and subjugating its people by implementing seeds of
division. Unfortunately, many in our community have have been successfully
brainwashed by the government and are lead to believe that if they simply
submit to silence and a few more years of suffering that they will be handed
their liberty on a silver platter. Others, in traitorous self-contempt,
have simply bought their way into the inhumanity of capitalist society in
hopes of passively assimilating (i.e., disappearing) into the masses of
automatons. But at what cost to the rest? How many more indignities must
we face? How many more queer bashings, teen suicides, and murders, will we
have to endure before our 'acceptance' into their sickening, circumscribed
straight world? How many more gay and lesbian children will grow up feeling
both ashamed and outraged by the injustice and inequality posited on them by
their straight masters? No, brothers and sisters! We shall no longer
accept that the fate of our people lays in the hands of an alien and
hypocritical society - a straight society. We will determine our own future
and define ourselves by our own terms. No longer will we meekly look to
those greedy, corrupt, and murderous capitalist politicians and plead for
power. No longer will we accept that there is no alternative to misery and
suffering. No longer will we seek to become coconspirators in crimes
committed against the poor and hungry, the weak and elderly, and oppressed
peoples world wide. Sisters and brothers, isn't it time we began building
our own society? One that is built upon the unity of our shared experiences,
one built upon our very own knowledge of oppression and our desire to ensure
that no one's future shall be as horrific as our past? A society that is not
one patterned on such a revolting idea of a straight, white, male hegemony.
It is time comrades, to begin to seize your liberty! To begin to build our
own world!

OUT OF THE CLOSETS AND INTO THE STREETS!

Gay Revolution Party Manifesto

Gay

Gay is a process of attaining mutual and equal social and sensual
relationships among all human beings, which is realized only through
participation in the free dynamic expression of love among people of the
same sex.
Straight is the systematic channeling of human expression into various
basically static social institutions and roles. The original social
expression of straightness was gender: the division of humanity into the
castes of woman and man on the basis of the biological sexes, female and
male. In this process, females were deprived of their subjectivity and
their erotic energy was suppressed, while males developed roles involving
aggression and search for power and dominance. Since gays, roleless
relations acted in opposition to this process, they were suppressed.
With this caste division as a tradition and model, it was a logical
consequence that the male rulers extended the caste system and placed other
males (and appendaged females) into similar functional or object
relationships, based either on their ethnic origin (caste) or on their
personal heritage (class). This was the process in which racism, despotism,
feudalism, capitalism, nationalism, and imperialism were developed. The
male rulers ensured the socialization of people in this system of
relationships by developing self-validating institutions such as straight
sexuality, the family, the church, and the state.
Gradually these straight societies came to dominate the entire planet
since their nature led them continually to seek conquest and colonialization
of other peoples. Today their dominance is practically complete.
But since the nature of these societies has never corresponded to the
actuality of human needs, they could never succeed in the indoctrination of
the entire population. Gay people, homosexuals, are the most socially
defined group of those not indoctrinated. Generally, we have been treated
as an untouchable caste, "agents of Satan," criminals, sociopaths, since we
act inherently to destroy the prevailing social order of straight gender.
Sometimes the reaction of societies has been to purge gay people.
Examples of this are the Medieval European practice of burning witches and
faggots and subsequently, our confinement in convents, monasteries, prisons,
concentration camps, and mental institutions. Another reaction was the
attempt to impose straight gender definitions on homosexual relations, as in
ancient Greek and native American groups. Generally, the practice has been
to isolate gay people, deny the existence of homosexuality and increase the
indoctrination.
Despite this oppression, we gay people have continued to discover
ourselves. We have seen in ourselves the capability of loving each other
as complete people outside the roles of straightness. We have found that
humans are capable of tremendous creativity, imagination, and constant
change, but that these qualities are suppressed in the process through which
a child becomes a straight person.
In the past, we gay people have never been allowed to associate openly
with any nation, any race, ethnic group, religion, or social movement. All
have denied our gayness, even while using our abilities. The result of this
exclusion has been that we have no vested interest in dogmatism, sexism,
racism, and nationalism, and have been able to see the essential nature of
human personhood and the restrictions placed on it by classes and castes.
These factors have historically produce in gay people the desire to break
down or overthrow systems of caste and class.
The isolation of gay people has, in the past, forced us into
individual solutions: criminality, madness, mysticism, abstract creativity,
suicide, and the conformity of the closet life-style. We have also sought
solutions through directing our anti-social energies against systems of
caste and class other than those of gender.
Today, conditions have changed and the isolation is breaking down. We
are beginning to realize that the end of classes and castes, and even the
survival of human life, depend on the total destruction of the caste system
which has made women objects for straight men and made gay people the
outcasts of society.

Revolution

Revolution is the method by which we will create the conditions
leading to the destruction of the gender caste system and thereby to the gay
liberation of all people. It will be a total change which will reach the
roots of the present social order and destroy all of its aspects which
restrain freedom.
Revolution differs from reform in that it means that the oppressed,
with a full consciousness of their oppression, create social change through
their own power.
Historically, revolution is the method by which one class overthrows
another. Gay revolution will see the overthrow of the straight male caste
and the destruction of all systems of class and caste that are based in
sexism. It is on this point that gay revolution differs from past
revolutions of the proletariat and Third World: it is complete revolution.
Any movements seeking less than an end to sexism and total liberation will
ultimately be co-opted by the oppressor. History has shown that the
maintenance of straightness, female oppression, and the family system has
prevented every revolutionary social and political movement from realizing
its goals. Instead of destroying classes, these revolutions have produced
either new class systems or a return to the previous social order with new
faces. Because they retain the sexual caste system, the rebirth of
non-destruction of castes and classes was inevitable.
Gay revolution will not produce a world in which women will receive
"equal pay" for work traditionally assigned to their gender, nor in which
they will become "equal partners" in the nuclear family. Rather, it will
mean that biological sex will nothing to do with occcupation, and their will
be no families.
Gay revolution will not lead to freedom of association for gay people
in a predominately straight world, nor will it lead to straight-defined
homosexuality with marriages and exclusive monogamy. Gay revolution will
produce a world in which all social and sensual relation ships will be gay
and in which homo- and heterosexuality will be incomprehensible terms.
Convergence at the point of gay-feminist consciousness by people from
the gay and womens movements will be the initial stage of revolution. Gay
people, first lesbians, and later males (after ridding themselves of their
manhood and its privileges), will move toward becoming gayer and eliminating
sexism and straightness from themselves. The straight women’s movement,
with its consciousness of the fundamentally oppressive nature of the
man-women caste model, will move toward sensual relations of equality and
mutuality, that is, homosexuality, and from there, to gay consciousness.
At this point, increasing numbers of straight men will be forced to
make a choice between becoming gay or attacking gay feminists in order to
restore the previous imbalance of power. Reactionary repression is their
more probable course, and it would occur both individually and through the
institutions of society: government, religion, psychology, etc. The goal of
the repression would be to force women back to the home and gay people back
into the closet through threats of imprisonment in jails, mental
institutions and any other means that could be devised.
This reaction would then produce a collective insurrection by
gay-feminist revolutionaries which would seek to end the power of straight
men.
The preferable alternative to such reactionary repression would be for
males to become gay in large numbers. But just as straight movement women
must explore each other sensually and sexually, so also must straight males
bring each other out. Gay-feminists will no longer serve the oppressor
sexually or psychically.

Party

Party is the medium in which the oppressed their individual experience
of oppression and develop a gay-feminist consciousness and programs of
revolutionary action. A Gay Revolution Party is the means of becoming gay
and destroying straight, in and around us.
A party is the specific organizational medium which effectively
concentrates energies through combating individualism, power tripping, and
anarchistic self-indulgence, while encouraging commitment collectivism, and
self-discipline. This is in contrast to other organizations which dissipate
our energies and to small groups which tend to become totally
inner-directed.
The Gay Revolution Party is a dynamic network of small groups
organized to deal collectively with specific work projects or organizational
functions. Such small group functions would include: collective living,
political action, consciousness-raising, political education, and sensual
development. A council of representatives, acting out of the collective
consciousness of their groups, will formulate party policy and coordinate
action.
We will develop our structures from our own personal-sensual selves
and our understanding of how to best respond out of love, not fear, to our
own experience.
Our emphasis will be serving those who are sensually identified as
gay. Our service will not be doing things for gays but becoming, with gays,
gayer and freer gay humans.

Since when is all of that a gay issue? Who wrote that? Were they serious? I hate
it when gay activists cant stick to their own damn issues. And i don't care what
the essay said, gay rights equals "the right to rub penises and/or vagina's with
other people's penises and/or vaginas or (insert orifice here)...." all of the
rest of this isnt a frikkin gay rights issue.

And how dare anyone tell me that just because I'm straight, I'm socially static.
Fuck that! Gay does not equal "the process of attaining mutal and equal social
and sensual relationships among all human beings". How fucking arrogant. You
sound like a damn scientologist. Gay equals gettng ass-reamed and liking it, gay
is not the fucking "enlightened state". Why do people WRITE this shit? Get a
spine! Your need to feel special is poignantly fuckin obvious.

There...now lets see how many people I've pissed off. And before you mention it,
I've nothing against homosexuals, per se. That is, I've nothing against them
because of their preferences. But whoever wrote that (if they're serious) is a
fuckin idjit, gay or no. I'm gonna go eat a steak.

NEW DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

copyright 1998 by Ezekiel J. Krahlin
(Jehovah's Queer Witness)

I hereby declare war against the United States
Government, and to all its people who support the federal
sanction against same-sex marriage... which may be a majority.
The moment government permits any state to officially and
intentionally deny a gay citizen's right to the pursuit of
happiness--as indeed marriage is a blissful goal--the door is
open to establishing all homophile women and men as second
class citizens in perpetuity.

I perceive this unconstitutional, ungodly sanction as the
first step towards eradicating all known homosexuals in our
sorry nation. The bombing of the Lesbian lounge in Atlanta is
just the beginning...unless the federal government and
mainstream Christian churches--including African-American
congregations--immediately step in and aggressively fight back
against the jihad these homophobes have declared. (I'm not
holding my breath.) Their continued silence and foot-dragging
on the noble issue of same-sex-lover rights, puts blood on
their hands as surely as if they were right-wing fanatics
themselves!

I urge all lesbians, gays, bisexuals, gender changers,
their supporters, and other so-called queer types to bear arms
and take to the streets...and push back the beast of
homophobia that now rears its ugly head in the eyes of the
majority, who prowl this gutted country like ghouls from The
Night Of The Living Dead. For all intent purposes, President
Clinton has nodded his head in approval of a nationwide witch
hunt to kill us anywhere and everywhere we are seen or known
to abide...or at best to deny us jobs, shelter, friendship,
and equal treatment. Our President's wavering on the "gays in
the military" issue, along with the signing of DOMA...places
him in direct responsibility for exacerbating the hostility
against a basically harmless, and decent, group of citizens:
gay women and men.

Likewise for our so-called "liberal" straight
friends...who are too cowardly to display a pink triangle on
their own clothing, or a T-shirt or bumper sticker
proclaiming: "Another Hetero for Lesbian & Gay Rights". Yet
they proudly wear slogans and icons promoting the rights of
African-Americans, women, children, trees, animals, and so on.
The Danes in World War II sported stars of David to conceal
Jewish folk from Nazis...but I hear of none who displayed the
pink triangle.

If you are heterosexual, and perceive yourself as a true
"progressive", then you would have no qualms in taking up this
noble banner of Homophile Liberation in the ways I have
suggested...else you, too, have blood on your hands. But if
heteros at large still refuse to see this as their fight,
too...we homosexuals can flood the straight bars, clubs, and
other hetero hangouts. Our presence, with pink triangles
emblazoned on our shirts and jackets, will turn these straight
clubs into targets of the Army of God and their ilk. Then, of
course, we'll have a lot more allies in the resistance--albeit
unwilling.

Be it known that I am proudly homosexual, that I am a
Christian who respects all other beliefs as equal, that I
presently go by the name Ezekiel Krahlin (formerly Gene
Catalano). Be it also known that I propose the new label
"Thracian" over "gay male," to symbolize the new-found
empowerment of the homophile community in this century's
closing decade. The word "gay" perpetuates a stereotype of
ourselves as flighty, emotional, and frivolous...not to be
taken seriously, as a citizen, as a human being, or as
anything else! (Surely, women have a similar complaint
against male chauvanists.)

"Lesbian" is a beautiful term for the homosexual female;
as its name comes from a Greek Island with a rich, classical
history. The region of Thrace also has a great history, and
likewise plays an honored role in Hellenic culture...hence I
coin the term "Thracian" for those who are commonly thought of
as "gay male". Ancient Greeks first called their northern
neighbors "Thracians," and later, "Macedonians"...the people
from whom arose Alexander The Great. "Hellenic" can be the
general term for both homophile women and men, who are sick of
the belittling and ineffectual descriptor, "gay". This caps a
nice balance on the other two Greek words, to form an elegant
triad: Hellenic, Lesbian, Thracian. It also does away with
the chauvanistic stance of using "Gay" to represent both male
and female members, as well as males only. (Credit for the
idea of "Hellenic" to replace "Gay" goes to Fireweaver, an
Internet friend.)

Heterosexism, chauvinism, misogyny, mysandry, homophobia,
pedophilia, racism, and bestiality are all blasphemies in God's
eyes, and in mine, and in the eyes of all good people. Under this
inspiration, I declare Northern California a safe haven, and
demand protection by the United Nations Global Peacekeepers. I
also call for the secession of this region, and its establishment as
a
government solely for and by Hellenes...where all beliefs are to be
equally respected. Let this new nation be named "Athenia," to
honor woman's suffrage as well as symbolize wisdom and valor. As
a body politik, we are as the victorious David against Goliath: the
giant of homophobia shall be toppled and slain in our time.

Let it also be known that not every gay person is a
friend. Like any group of human beings, they have their ranks
of evil forces. True hearts are few and far between...love
and be constant to such friends--if indeed you have even
one--for you are well blessed. For wherever there are two
kindred hearts, there Your Angel will be also, in spirit. Do
not judge any person by any category (such as gay or hetero,
Jew or Christian, ugly or handsome, poor or rich, white or
black, etc.) But do judge her by what comes from the heart, as
expressed in words and deeds.

Civilization (for what it's worth) is about to go
berserk; the capitalist world as we know it is doomed. I
trust that those whom I can reach through this letter, already
are taking action. If you are wicked (homophobic), it is not
yet too late to change. I stand by you in prayer, and hope
you will join the valorous. For until the last enemy is fallen, it
is my duty to fight for every lost soul until the final moment.
Yes, I pray most ardently for the lost, not for the risen.

In closing, I humbly attempt to give solace to my
Hellenic sisters and brothers, with this quote from Psalm 35
(1-8):

Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me;
Fight against those who fight against me.
Take hold of shield and buckler,
And stand up for my help.

Also draw out the spear,
And stop those who pursue me.
Say to my soul,
"I am your salvation."

Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor
Who seek after my life;
Let those be turned back and brought to confusion
Who plot my hurt.
Let them be like chaff before the wind,
And let the angel of the Lord pursue them.

For without cause they have hidden their net for me in
a pit,
Which they have dug without cause for my life.
Let destruction come upon him unexpectedly,
And let his net that he has hidden catch himself;
Into that very destruction let him fall.

Thank you a thousand times over for turning me on to this excellent

doctrines from their site, which I especially enjoyed (and which

=====================================================

WHAT EXACTLY IS HETEROSEXUALITY AND WHAT CAUSES IT?

WHAT IT IS:

Heterosexuality is a condition in which people have a driving
emotional and sexual interest in members of the opposite sex.
Because of the anatomical, physiological, social and cultural
limitations involved, there are formidable obstacles to be
overcome. However, many heterosexuals look upon this as a
challenge and approach it with ingenuity and energy. Indeed it
can be said that most heterosexuals are obsessed with the
gratification of their curious desires.

WHAT CAUSES IT:

Hormonal imbalance? Economic conditions? Fear of death?
Cultural deprivation? Pathological condition? Social
conditioning? Childhood trauma? Parental program?

HORMONAL IMBALANCE

One theory advanced is that heterosexuals have an imbalance in
their sex hormonesQ instead of the normal mixture of the two,
they have an excess of one or a dearth of the other, resulting
in an inability to enjoy full and satisfying relationships
with their own sex.

ECONOMIC CONDITIONING

Our society grants financial and other incentives for
exclusively (i.e. neurotic) heterosexual coupling: from tax
concessions to council houses. To be gay is expensive and many
people simply cannot afford it.

FEAR OF DEATH

A terror of mortality lies beneath much heterosexual coupling.
Driven to perpetuate themselves at any cost, most
heterosexuals are indifferent to the prospect of the
world-wide famine that will result if the present population
explosion continues unchecked.

CULTURAL DEPRIVATION

Most heterosexuals will be found to have come from a
background in which an appreciation of the beauty of their own
bodies has been ruthlessly suppressed. Heterosexual men in
particular think themselves 'ugly', beauty being ascribed only
to women. Many psychic disorders stem from this
self-rejection.

PATHOLOGICAL CONDITION

Many heterosexuals claim that they were just 'born that way'.
Unfortunately this doesn't hold water. All human beings are
the result of the interaction between their substance and
their environment and heterosexuals, like the rest of us, must
share the responsibility for their condition.

SOCIAL CONDITIONING

Many unthinking heterosexuals succumb to the daily bombardment
of conditioning from the mass media and live out their lives
trapped in oppressive stereotypes. We should feel compassion
for such people, not hostility, for their rejection of all
those parts of the self that do not conform to the
'married-couple' ideal, is a measure of their loss of contact
with their own unique sexuality.

CHILDHOOD TRAUMA

A bad experience with a member of the same sex while young may
cause rejection of all members of the same sex through fear.
The desire continues in the subconscious and emerges as a
heterosexual neurosis.

PARENTAL PROBLEMS

In most cases of compulsive heterosexual behavior, the parents
will be found to have suffered from similar difficulties.

1. Do not assume that because you are part of the majority
that I long to be like you. Or that I want or need your
acceptance to validate my self worth and to reaffirm to myself
that I am 'okay'.

2. Do not assume that because you are 'liberal' or, are 'for
gay rights' that you are not part of the problem. Unless you
are aware of your privileges and are fighting to change sexual
stereotyping, the dynamics of the traditional male-female
gender roles, then you are not my ally.

3. Do not expect me to overlook even the slightest homophobic
gesture without calling you on it. Although it may not be
pleasant to have to own up to your instilled homophobia, it
is not pleasant for me to continually battle ignorance.

4. Do not expect me to refrain from talking about being queer
because it makes you nervous. I have been bombarded with
heterosexual imagery, love songs, moral values, and gender
roles for as long as I can recall. How many variations of one
theme can you tolerate?

5. Do not assume that I am going to act effeminate because I
am a man.

6. Do not assume that I am going to act masculine because I
am a man.

7. Always assume that I will act the fuckin' way I choose
without the fear that I am not acting in accordance to my
predefined gender role.

8. Do not expect me to feel comfortable or pleased to be in a
room filled with heterosexuals. I am repulsed by your sexism,
culture, and your masculine-feminine caricatures.

9. Do not flaunt your heterosexual privileges in front of me.
I feel no joy when you tell me about your weddings, adoptions,
or spousal benefits. I feel nothing but contempt when I see
you publicly flaunting your privileged lives by holding hands,
kissing, and fondling one another.

10. Do not feel as though you need to prove you are not
homophobic by being overly kind and attentive. No one likes to
be patronized and it only accomplishes me feeling an intense
dislike for you.

11. Do not act as though queer liberation doesn't concern
you. Any heterosexual that still adheres to their predefined
gender role is still reinforcing sexism, male domination and
the oppression of gays, lesbians, and transgendered people.

12. Do not expect me to respect your religious or moral
values if they are taught with the determination to view
queers as inhuman, degenerates, deviants, or sinful. Any dogma
that resorts to anti-queer practices, I not only have no
respect for, but will wholeheartedly try to destroy.

13. Do not expect me support any heterosexual institution
that promotes anti-queer thought or practices or benefits from
anti-queer thought or practices or the suffering of queers. I
wouldn't piss on these institutions if they were engulfed in
flames.

14. Do not feel the need to let me know that you are straight
by quickly bringing up your girlfriend or wife. I couldn't
care less.

15. Do not expect me not to be moderately amused if I notice
that I make you nervous. Although your homophobia is
sickening, your feeble attempts to keep your composure are
often times amusing. Your uneasiness pegs you for what you
are.

16. Do not assume that because I am queer I know a queer
acquaintance of yours.

17. Do not assume that I want to know your queer
acquaintance.

18. Do not treat me as an exotic novelty. I am not your
evening's entertainment, I will not naively play the part of
your 'unique' friend for the benefit of your hetero friends.

19. Do not assume that I want to gain acceptance into your
straight all boys club. I have my own circle of friends and
have absolutely no interest in the likes of hetero male
bonding and all of its emotionally stunted trappings.

20. Do not assume that if you threaten me with violence that
I won't defend myself. I WILL BASH BACK!

Also from

is their socialist-democratic manifesto:

WHAT WE WANT, WHAT WE BELIEVE
THE THIRD WORLD GAY REVOLUTION MANIFESTO

Our straight sisters and brothers must recognize and support
that we, gay women and men, are equal in every way within the
revolutionary ranks.

We each organize our people about different issues, but
our struggles are the same against oppression, and we will
defeat it together. Once we understand these struggles, and
gain a love for our sisters and brothers involved in these
struggles, we must learn how best to become involved in them.

The struggles of the peoples of the world are our fight
as well; their victories are our victories and our victories
are theirs. Our freedom will come only with their freedom.

Together, not alone, we must explore how we view
ourselves, and analyze the assumptions behind our
self-identity. We can then begin to crack the barriers of our
varying illnesses, our passivity, sexual chauvinism - in
essence, our inability to unabashedly love each other, to
live, to fight, and if necessary, to die for the people of the
earth.

As we begin to understand our place in international
revolution, and join with others in this understanding, we
must develop the skills necessary to destroy the forces of
repression and exploitation, so as to make it possible for
anew woman and man to evolve in a society based on communal
love.

While we understand that in the United States our main
enemy is the socio-economic-political system of capitalism and
the people who make profits from our sufferings, fights and
divisions, we also recognize that we must struggle against any
totalitarian, authoritarian, sex-controlled, repressive,
irrational, reactionary, fascist government or government
machine.

What We Want: What We Believe:

1. We want the right of self-determination for all Third
World and gay people, as well as control of the destinies of
our communities.

We believe that Third World and gay people cannot be free
until we are able to determine our own destinies.

2. We want the right of self-determination over the use of
own bodies: the right to be gay, anytime, anyplace; the right
to free physiological change and modification of sex on
demand; the right to free dress and adornment.

We believe that these are human rights which must be
defended with our bodies being put on the line. The system as
it now exists denies these basic human rights by implementing
forced heterosexuality.

3. We want liberation for all women: We want free and safe
birth control information and devices on demand. We want free
24-hour child care centers controlled by those who need and
use them. We want a redefinition of education and motivation
(especially for Third World women) towards broader educational
opportunities without limitations because of sex. We want
truthful teaching of women's history. We want an end to
hiring practices make women and national minorities 1) a
readily available source of cheap labor; and 2) confined to
mind-rotting jobs under the worst conditions.

We believe that the struggles of all all oppressed groups
under any form of government which does not meet the true
needs of its people will eventually result in the overthrow of
that government. The struggle for liberation of women is a
struggle to be waged by all peoples. We must also struggle
within ourselves and within our various movements to end this
oldest form of oppression and its foundation - male
chauvinism. We cannot develop a truly liberating form of
socialism unless we fight these tendencies.

4. We want full protection of the law and social sanction for
all human sexual-expression and pleasure between consenting
persons, including youth.

We believe that present laws are oppressive to Third
World people, gay people, and the masses. Such laws expose the
inequalities of capitalism, which can only exist in a state
where there are oppressed people or groups. This must end.

5. We want the abolition of the bourgeois nuclear family.

We believe that the bourgeois nuclear family perpetuates
the false categories of homosexuality and heterosexuality by
creating sex roles, sex definitions, and sexual exploitation.
The bourgeois nuclear family as the basic unit of capitalism
creates oppressive roles of homosexuality and heterosexuality.
All oppressions originate within the nuclear family structure.
Homosexuality is a threat to this family structure and
therefore to capitalism. The mother is an instrument of
reproduction and teaches the necessary values of capitalist
society, i.e., racism, sexism, etc., from infancy on. The
father physically enforces (upon the mother and children) the
behavior necessary in a capitalist system: intelligence and
competitiveness in young boys and passivity in young girls.
Further, it is every child's right to develop in a non-sexist,
non-racist, non-possessive atmosphere which is the
responsibility of all people, including gays, to create.

6. We want a free non-compulsory education system that
teaches us our true identity and history, and presents the
entire range of human sexuality without advocating anyone
form or style; that sex roles and determination of skills
according to sex be eliminated from the school system; that
language be modified so that no gender takes priority; and
that gay people must share in responsibility of education.

We believe that we have been taught to compete with our
sister and brothers for power, and from that competitive
attitude grows sexism, racism, male and national chauvinism
and distrust of our sisters and brothers. As we begin to
understand these things within ourselves, we attempt to free
ourselves of them and are moved toward a revolutionary
consciousness.

7. We want guaranteed full equal employment for Third World
and gay people at all levels of production.

We believe free that any system of government is
responsible for every woman and man a guaranteed income and
employment, regardless of sex or sexual preference. Being
interested only in profits, capitalism cannot meet the needs
of the people.

8. We want decent and free housing, fit shelters for human
beings.

We believe that free shelter is a basic human need and
right which must not be denied on any grounds. Landlords are
capitalists, and like all capitalists, are motivated only by
the accumulation of profits, as opposed to the welfare of the
people.

9. We want to abolish the existing judicial system. We want
all Third World and gay people when brought to trial, to be
tried by a people's court with a jury of their peers. A peer
is a person from similar social, economic, geographical,
racial, historical, environmental, and sexual background.

We believe that the function of the judicial system under
capitalism is to uphold the ruling class and keep the masses
under control.

10. We want the reparation for and release of all Third
World, gay, and political prisoners from jails and mental
institutions.

We believe that these people should be released because
they have not received fair and impartial trials.

11. We want the abolition of capital punishment, all forms of
institutional punishment, and the penal system.

We want the establishment of psychiatric institutions for
the humane treatment and rehabilitation of criminal persons as
decided by the people's court. We want the establishment of a
sufficient number of free and non-compulsory clinics for the
treatment of sexual disturbances, as defined by the
individual.

12. We want the immediate end to the fascist police force. We
believe that the only way this can be accomplished is by
putting the defense of the people in the hands of the people.

13. We want all Third World and gay people to be exempt from
compulsory military service in the imperialist army. We want
an end to military oppression at home and abroad.

We believe that the only true army for oppressed is the
peoples army, and Third World, gay people, and women should
have full participation in the People's Revolutionary Army.

14. We want an end to all institutional religions because
they aid in genocide by teaching superstition and hatred of
Third World people, homosexuals, and women. We want a
guarantee of freedom to express natural spirituality.

We believe that institutionalized religions are an
instrument of capitalism, therefore an enemy of the People.

15. We demand the immediate non-discrimatory open
admission/membership for radical homosexuals into all
left-wing revolutionary groups and organizations and the right
to caucus.

We believe that so-called comrades who call themselves
"revolutionaries" have failed to deal with their sexist
attitudes. Instead they cling to male supremacy and therefore
to the conditioned role of oppressors. Men still fight for
the privileged position of man-on-the-top. Women quickly fall
in line behind-their-men. By their counterrevolutionary
struggle to maintain and to force heterosexuality and the
nuclear family, they perpetuate decadent remnants of
capitalism. To gain their anti-homosexual stance, they have
used the weapons of the oppressor, thereby becoming the agent
of the oppressor.

It is up to men to realistically define masculinity,
because it is they, who, throughout their lives, have
struggled to gain the unrealistic roles of "men." Men have
always tried to reach this precarious position by climbing on
the backs of women and homosexuals. "Masculinity" has been
defined by capitalist society as the amount of possessions
(including women) a man collects, and the amount of physical
power gained over other men. Third World men have been denied
even these false standards of "masculinity."

Anti-homosexuality fosters sexual repression, male-supremacy,
weakness in revolutionary drive, and results in an inaccurate
non-objective political perspective. Therefore, we believe
that all left-wing revolutionary groups and organizations must
immediately establish non-discriminatory, open
admission/membership policies. 16. We want new society - a
revolutionary socialist society. We want liberation of
humanity, free food, free shelter, free clothing, free
transportation, free health care, free utilities, free
education, free art for all. We want a society where the
needs of the people come first.

We believe that all people should share the labor and
products of society, according to each one's needs and
abilities, regardless of race, sex, age, or sexual
preferences. We believe the land, technology, and the means
of production, belong to the people, and must be shared by the
people collectively for the liberation of all

I really like this essay, it addresses a lot of
you assimilationist queers in these newsgroups,
who squawk so hysterically in defense heteros:

From:

==============================================================

RIP Gay Lib?

David Thorstad
During the Vietnam War, the National Liberation Front
condemned the US government while offering friendship to the
American people. These days it is easy to feel a similar
ambivalence about the gay movement and its spokespeople.

In its rush to assimilate into straight society, the movement
has drifted far from the goal of sexual liberation. It is not
fashionable even to talk about liberation when many
homosexuals- gay men especially- seem to think they're already
liberated.

Much of the gay movement's present agenda seems pretty removed
from sexual liberation:

- elevating militarism and patriotism to a gay ideal

- seeking to redefine the family to include ersatz gay
"families"- at a moment when the family itself is in decay-
and ignoring the central role that the family plays in gay
oppression

- attempting to show that gays can be as conventional as
anyone by pressing for "domestic partner benefits," instead of
opposing all special state support to individuals based on
marital or conjugal status (whether straight or gay)

- aping an increasingly unsuccessful feature of
heterosexuality by demanding a right to marriage- a bogus
"right" based on a denial of the historical, economic, and
procreative role of marriage in capitalist society- and
elevating coupledom in an effort to deflect attacks on
promiscuity in an era of AIDS and ascendant hetero-supremacy

- advancing monogamy as a primordial value (thereby
diminishing single status at a time when it is growing among
straights too)- despite the fact that monogamy plays an
insignificant role in the mammalian heritage (fewer than three
percent of mammals are monogamous)

- adopting anti-gay male aspects of the feminist agenda by
opposing (or acquiescing in attacks on) pornography,
prostitution, public sex, and pederasty (SM- which touches all
four P's and is also anathema to liberal feminism- has not yet
fallen from gay grace, but its perch is precarious)

- advancing a strategy of victimology by replacing personal
empowerment and liberation with pleas for the state to
"protect" victims from bigots- and youth from dirty (gay) old
men

- depreciating gay men as agents of their own liberation
struggle by imposing a politically correct template based on a
fictional concept of "gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender
communities"- as if such "communities" actually existed, and
as if heterosexual love too were not in need of liberation

- allowing a sensible opposition to sexism and "lesbian
invisibility" over the past two decades to be turned into a
power trip whereby these days only a lesbian is deemed
qualified to represent all homosexuals (in New York City,
lesbians have a permanent place at the head of gay pride
marches, as if their oppression is somehow worse or more valid
than that of gay men)

- flirting with the notion that homosexuality is inborn-
echoing the long-discredited 19th -century idea that
same-sexers represented a "third sex" ("Don't discriminate
against us because we can't help it, we were born that way")

- neglecting the struggle to repeal Judeo-Christian sodomy
laws that remain on the books of half the states in favor of
the liberal symbolism of gay rights legislation- a strategy
that confuses identity with liberation and shifts the focus
from acts (sodomy, etc.) to status ("gay people," or "lesbians
and gay men"- or, in the current terminological fad, "queers")

- turning its back on the only gay people who today go to jail
for their homosexuality: the thousands of men who languish in
US prisons for having loved a youth too young, in the
estimation of the erotophobic heterosexual dictatorship (and,
increasingly, gay and lesbian thought police), to be enjoying
same-sex love with a partner of his choice

On and on the list depressingly goes.

During the late 60s and early 70s, radicals used to debate how
revolutionary homosexuality was. It is clear that it has the
power to revolutionize individual lives and to compel the
heterosexual dictatorship to back off from some of its
intolerance, but there is nothing revolutionary about it per
se. Homosexuality can be as reactionary as any other form of
sexuality.

As American society has moved to the right, so has the
"lesbian and gay movement"- to the grotesque point where last
summer congressman Barney Frank and other gaycrats made common
cause with straight pig Jesse Helms and the Clinton
administration to get the North American Man /Boy Love
Association kicked out of the International Lesbian and Gay
Association. They succeeded, but to no avail: last fall the
Clinton administration got the ILGA denied its UN observer
status anyway. Such quislings to sexual liberation speak for a
movement that is losing its soul.

It has already lost much of its independence from the
hetero-dominant system, having been purged of many radical
impulses by middle-class assimilationists and hitched to the
lowest-common denominator politics of the Republicrat party.

In contrast to the ideals that gave rise to gay struggle, the
movement today seems eager to reassure the powers that be that
it poses no threat to any of the institutions of
hetero-supremacy- not the church, not the state, not the
family. There may be some truth in this, to the extent that,
as some sociologists argue, countercultural or subcultural
movements like gay liberation, being largely concerned with
identity issues and inward-looking, raise no challenge that
the dominant society cannot co-opt or ignore. But seeking to
strengthen or become an appendage of such institutions is not
the way to fight heterosupremacy.

The anti-sex hysteria ushered in in the late 70s with Anita
Bryant, the anti-porn crusade, and anti-child sex hysteria
have grown into a state-encouraged abuse industry of (mostly
anti-male) sexophobes that has made inroads in the gay
movement as well. Fear of the wrath of the dominant society
has led some same-sexers to accommodate the dominant society's
anti-sex bigotry, to inter nalize its hatred, to acquiesce in
its limited discourse, to seek to advance the interests of
some at the expense of others. Their task has been made all
the easier by the loss to AIDS of so many sex radicals.

The war on drugs of the past two decades has also become a war
on sex. Both have as one of their aims to cow and intimidate,
to bring rebellion to heel. America is becoming a police
state- stunningly symbolized by Clinton/Reno's Waco massacre.
The silence of the gaycrats about that bloody crime showed how
parochial is their view of gay liberation and injustice.

The gay movement needs to get away from being just another
Republicrat interest group and back to a radical vision of
sexual freedom for all. We need to reaffirm our place in the
great variety of same-sex behaviors that exist- have always
existed- in human societies. We dare not allow our homosexual
gift to be alienated from us by the limited vision, stifling
political correctness, and erotophobic provincialism of a
society in decline.

First of all, no one knows what "shit" you are referring to because

Well, they'll stone you when you're trying to be so good
They'll stone you just like they said they would
They'll stone you when you're trying to go home
Then they'll stone you when you're there all alone
But I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get stoned

Well, they'll stone you when you're walking on the street
They'll stone you when you're trying to keep your seat
They'll stone you when you're walking on the floor
They'll stone you when you're walking through the door
But I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get stoned

They'll stone you when you're at the breakfast table
They'll stone you when you are 'oung and able
They'll stone you when you're trying to make a buck
They'll stone you and then they'll say good luck
Well, but I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get stoned

Well, they'll stone you and say that it's the end
Then they'll stone you and then they'll come back again
They'll stone you when you're riding in your car
They'll stone you when you're playing your guitar
Yes, but I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get stoned
All right

Well, they'll stone you when you are all alone
