Flabbergast
Those butterflies out there who has stayed off the cocain may remember
that there has been a bit talk about an AFPmeet here in Gbg.[1]
Even if things have been a bit quiet in this matter a while, don't think
that I've forgot.
I suggest Saturday Januari 3 1998, as being a AFPropriate date to hold
this event[4]. It vould give you (hopefully) enough time to recover from
the New Years celibrations. Also it would be within the time that Jenny
spends down here. And some time to return home before Monday and the RL.
Any objections/suggestions to date/where to meet/what to do cc to me, but
do it kind of ASAP. I plan to annouce this meeting in about a week.

I'm the other one of two who was talking about it a while ago.
My plans are now definite:
I'll be in Gothenburg from the 30th to the 5th, but one night will be
spent in Borås. (Well, actually, all other nights will be spent in
Onsala but that's a minor thing in the circumstances).
I have as yet made no particular plans save for being with my sister
(with whom I am staying) on New Year's Eve. But I don't think I'd want
to attend two meets since I have a lot of family to meet, too.
For me, either of the dates mentioned (or indeed the 2nd or the 4th)
would be quite OK. I don't suppose Flabbergast could be
induced/hedgehogged to change her plans? I'd really really like to
have a meet with both of you...
Oh, and by the way, how about a Sthlm AFP meet sometime in
March-April? Just checking...

And most people is doing thing on New Years Eve, and are not to happy
to travel the day after, or in a state to do so :|
I wanna meet as many as possible, if possible.
And I haven't been able to lure one single Gbgian AFPish lurker out of
the woodwork. So it seems as all will have to come from other places.
So even if it would be possible for me to change my work schedual
the third still, even if it means I'm going to miss Alan :(, is IMO the
better date.

For me getting to Sthlm is not a problem, so count me in.
Would give me an exuse to visit my brother. Wich I don't do all to
often. Going there on a quick visit later to day, ooooopss is it Friday
allready, the first in many, many years.

I'm really sorry but I don't think that will work for me. I
too will be arriving on December 30th, with my SO, two cats
and my stepdaughter. My sister will be there to meet us and
I think everybody (except you, I hope) will be unhappy with
me if I go off with others immediately on arrival. Maybe we
will have a chance next year...
