There is a local Christian group that is offering a class to convert gay
people for only $250!!!

In addition, they are running some really offensive commercials on
television. As a straight man, I realize that this is not my fight, but I
was wondering if anyone knew how to send an e-mail bomb to crash their web
server. Their e-mail is ho...@outpost-inc.com. their webpage is at
http://www.outpost-inc.com.
Please respond via E-mail since I don't ordinarily read this ng

(Note: I use the word "Thracian" as a new and empowering replacement
of the word "gay".)

Don't get me wrong, dude, I appreciate your support. But why on earth
don't you think this is not your fight? Why do so many white
"liberal" straights gladly fight for the environment, women's rights,
consumer rights, black folk's rights, children's rights, etc....yet
single out Thracian rights as not their fight, or irrelevant?

Example: Ralph Nader, considered a real "progressive", was recently
quoted as saying, in regards to lesbian/gay rights: "I don't get
involved in gonadal politics." Example: Our "leftist" President
caving in to the bible-thumping right wing by signing the Defense Of
Marriage Act. Clinton's tactic in essence declares open hunting
season on all Lesbian and Thracian people...bombing of a Lesbian
hangout in Atlanta is just the beginning. (With friends like these,
who needs enemies?)

It is your fight too, for a number of reasons.

1) As a heterosexual, if you don't speak up in your straight,
"liberal" circles that homophobia is wrong...then you also have some
gays' blood on your hands.

2) Homophobia is the *creation* of heterosexism in the extreme form
it has become, in our society. You are part of this priviliged,
elitist world by virtue of your heterosexuality. As a concerned
citizen, it is certainly your fight, too.

3) In a society that persecutes Thracians, straight people also have
less freedom as a result...a terrorist regime knows no bounds...and,
what goes around, comes around.

I think the Thracian Community had better wake up and smell the
coffee...we have far fewer friends in politics, in power, or anywhere
else, than most of us realize!

One last question: If you don't mind wearing a T-shirt to support
women's rights or black people's rights...why not wear one for gay
rights, too. After all, are you truly politically progressive, or
just another rainy-day friend? Afraid of being called a "faggot",
just as whites in the past feared being called a "nigger lover" if
they fought for African Americans?
