Source of l-tryptophan

This information is for people interested in obtaining pure, USP grade
l-tryptophan at a reasonable price. It is not intended to persuade anyone
that they should try it. However, I'll answer questions on the
relationship between tryptophan and serotonin to the best of my ability if
you contact me by private e-mail. I am not receiving fibrom-L mail or
reading the newsgroup these days. I'm also available to people who want
encouragement in getting their FM under control.

L-tryptophan 360mg capsules is available from Nutral in Sioux City, Iowa,
100 caps for U$24. Shipping is U$6 shipping no matter how many bottles
(e.g. $54 for 2 bottles), phone is 800 468 8725. The tryptophan is
manufactured in the US but shipped to you from Belize, which is entirely
legal. The label carries the chemical name indoamino proprionic acid
(which is tryptophan) 360mg, passion flower 40 mg. Passion flower is
believed to potentiate tryptophan.

I just learned that 80% of serotonin is manufactured in the gut (from
tryptophan.) This makes sounds gut hygiene ever more important, it seems
to me.
