Reposting the details, here, at the last minute. Thanks to Glinda
for reminding me.

Nobody's asked for crash space or tried to arrange rides (except me,
and I seem to have convinced some locals to drive up with me, in
case you were worried) and I've got maybe three or four actual
yesses, so we'll see what happens.

Original announce text follows:

This would be an open invitation to all Pacific Northwest (or
Southwest, if you're Canadian) AFPers to join us at the University
of Washington for an AFPmeet following the 7:00 signing at Kane Hall
on the University of Washington Campus.

If you're attending the signing, be sure to call the bookstore at
(206) 634-3400, or toll free at: 1-800-335-READ to reserve tickets
soon. They're free. The bookstore is five minute's walk from the
site of the signing, so you can pick them up when you get there.

So that we can all recognize one another, it is recommended that
everyone carry some form of chocolate. Mary (that's me) will be
there with a sign of some kind as well. Presumably, anyone left
hanging around after Pterry leaves will be planning on going with us
to the restaurant down the street.

The name of the place we'll be headed is Dalmuti's. It is,
apparently, ten minute's walk, but it seems likely that people who
brought cars will end up offering rides to those who arrived by
other means.
