Gosh, meets are coming thick and fast these days, aren't they? To add to
the rush, here's another one.

The Date: Saturday 11th October
The Time: 7.00 pm onwards
The Place: The Wheatsheaf, Oxford
The Reason: Um, various.

Directions are below. As usual, I'm unable to offer crashspace. Sorry,
*totally unapologetic look*.

DIRECTIONS TO THE WHEATSHEAF, OXFROD
Written directions: Kitten
Map: Tabbycat

By car
- ------
Find the station. This is clearly signposted, and you'll pass it anyway
if you're coming in on the A420 from the west side of Oxford. There's
parking opposite the station, which I think is free on a Saturday. Once
you've parked and disembarked, follow the directions below.

Walking from the station
- ------------------------
Get onto the main road next to the station (OK, the pavement, don't be
picky) and turn left. This is PARK END STREET. Keep walking, and cross
over the crossroads when you reach them (this is a bit of a bugger when
there's lots of traffic, but persevere). Keep on walking until you pass
a car park on your left. There will be a turning to your left (WORCESTER
STREET), but ignore this and carry straight on over the road. You're now
on NEW ROAD. Keep walking and you'll pass a turn off to your right
(CASTLE STREET) and the Westgate Shopping Centre. You're now in QUEEN
STREET. It's probably best to get on the right hand side of the road at
this point. Keep walking, and you'll come to a cross roads. To your left
is CORNMARKET STREET, and to your right is ST ALDATES. There's also a
clock tower on your left. Cross over into HIGH STREET. There are two
alleyways off the right hand side. Go down the second one, which has a
barrel with 'The Wheatsheaf' adorning it. Partway down the alley on your
right is the pub itself, and further down is some outside seating.
