Yiri,
I disagree. Check out "DRACULA THE UNDEAD" (PA2087). I'm no expert on
R.P.G. (Role Playing Games) but this is definitely one. You play the
part of "Jonathan Harker". It's the only R.P.G. for the Atari Lynx that
I've played. I quite like it and consider it a must have Atari Lynx
game. I'd like to see more games, for the Atari Lynx, like this.

Before you buy.
First of all, have you ever heard of spaces between sentences, or capital
letters? With that out of the way, could post a scan of Eye of The Beholder, so
we can see what it looks like? If not, then you obviously don't have it, and
don't try to tell us you don't have a scanner, because you are supposedly quite
wealthy, and i am far from it, and have a scanner. If you still persist you
don't have a scanner, you could snail-mail the picture to one of us with a
scanner and we could post it. Hmmmm????

hmmmm????
i don´t want a scanned picture of an eprom-cartridge, but the file-dump of eye of
the beholder.
capital letters are no necessity of good typography. indeed i am very pleased by
chris_lynx1989´s efforts
in style.
alien vs predator for lynx and alien versus predator 2 for jaguar??? good entries
for any vaporware list or even the x files.
by the way, how are chopper raid and tombstone doing. do you have pictures of
them (and i don´t mean the eproms).

Funny you should ask...We're hoping to be done by fall..should have some screen
shots by the end of July..

It's available at many different sites on the internet. I can't remember where
i found it, but just search for "Eye of the Beholder ROM". You should find it

Well maybe you should think twice about his style because most of the time he
acts like a two year old trying to get everyone to hate Carl Forhan, who has
done nothing but keep the lynx AND jaguar alive for the past year. He is honest
and has released various titles for both systems, and i don't believe he has
ever not been trustworthy, and Chrislynx constantly talks about how bad of a
person he is and how he tries to cheat you, but that's just because Chrislynx
is as full of crap as a christmas goose. Just my 2 cents(and i believe everyone
agrees with me).

Well, to set the record straight:
- The Guardians: Storm over Doria was dropped at about 30% completion. We
only had a few levels built. The multiplayer nature and the cart cost were
the reasons.
- I keep hoping, but have not found, any backup copies of the source code or
the artwork. It probably exists on a hard drive somewhere, if someone gets
ahold of the Amiga 2500 which had the stuff.
- The EPROMS you speak of were of a slide show with 4 pictures that was
produced for the '92 CES show. I would imagine they were erased.
- EGM never saw a running copy of the game. Yes, they did "preview" the
game. They made it all up. No-one at Knight Technologies even spoke with
them. I don't know if Telegames people did.
The game was developed to the point of having a central map screen, several
characters, and a few simple AI monsters running around. There were a few
dungeons and a couple of towns. No coherent story was in place. We had a
menu system and missile system. There was a little bit of combat available.
I could easily reproduce the entire game (without the artwork) in about 2 to
3 weeks now. What is lacking is the storyline. This is the single hardest
part of an RPG, just as in a Fantasy novel. Keeping the universe consistent
and interesting.

P.S. Anyone out there get Howard/Howdy #54? What about #8? Did it come with
an Amiga 2500 or 2000HD?
Hmmm. I'll remember that when i actually want something, considering i'm simply
showing that he doesn't have it.
