I have a problem with eudora 6 i just installed.

I have an e-mail account that I have to check with an IMAPS
connection.
I have set the Secure Sockets when receiving to Required, Alternate
Port, and then, when I check mail, eudora displays an error message
"connection broken".

I tried to clic on the LastSLLInfo button to enter the connection
manager, but there is a message "You have never checked mail using an
SSL connexion with this personnality since the last time you started
Eudor (or a negotiation is in progress with this personnality", and I
can't go to the manager.

Does anybody know how to fix this ?

The Last SSL Info button will not work for incoming mail in IMAP in my
experience. (The SMTP part seems to be fine, though.)

Your problem might be due to a problem with the IMAP server's
certificate. Thing is, since clicking on the Last SSL Info button will
get you nowhere, the only solution is to try to access the server via
POP with SSL. Then, you can go to the Cetificate Manager vie Last SSL
Info and add the certificate to your trusted certificates. Change to
IMAP again, and you should be fine.
