Alternatively, you could use Gary Gregson's EXCELLENT 'XGEDIT' editor
for the DB50. You can get a good demo of this from most sites which
have anything to do with the DB50 / or XG in general. Sorry I can't
remember the exact names of any of the sites, but a search for XGEDIT
will probably get you there.

XGEDIT is much easier to use than sending SYSEX messages, and allows
you to change the parameters of the sounds in real time, record these
changes as you do them, and also to save whole banks of edited sounds.
It really is user-friendly, and allows you to realise the full power
of the DB50.

The demo is very good, and only has a few functions disabled, but I do
recommend registration if you like it - not only because you get the
full version, and excellent support from Mr Gregson, but also because
I think a product of this quality deserves support.
