Old Time open Jams in Central VA

I am rather new to the Waynesboro-Charlottesville area and would love to find
some open oldtime jam secessions. Any help would be grateful!

There is a weekly jam in Blacksburg, VA (about 1.5 hours from Cville),
but sometimes folks come down for it. Here's the info:

You can always connect with other musicians at the area dances.
