Tonight we had an extra episode to tie up the wedding.

Opens with the 'catering staff' (Lynn,Kirsty,Will etc) 'decorating'
Kim's Range Rover with the usual cans and bunting.
Meanwhile, in the house Kim is having trouble convincing Kim that they
are broke. She still thinks that's its a wind-up.

In the marque Lisa is applying ice to Zak's face, but Zak is too busy
berating Butch to care so she upends the ice bucket into his lap.

Butch slinks off to try some theft from vehicles outside and is
observed by Seth.

Steve tells Kim that the lost money belongs to third parties. She
suddenly twigs that she is in that category and throws a Champoo
bottle at him. It misses (shame) and smashes over the bed.

By now Butch is inside the house about to pocket 2 candle sticks when
Zak tells him to stop it.Chris finds them both and wants to know what
is happening.

Kim realises that Steve knew all along what risks he was taking. He
tells her that he has committed everything. She reflects that earlier
that day she was crying with happiness and now this.

Seth stands up for Butch with Chris who leaves. Butch still steals the
candlesticks.

The Marchants are arguing their way down the stairs (no, no repeat of
the flying piggy) to be met by a piss-taking Chris. Kim convinces
Steve to join her in a lovey-dovey act by threatening:
"if you don't I'll bite your ear off and then come back for the rest."

Cut to a pissed Tara (sorry Dave but her slapper rating has just
increased) who is dancing with John who tells her that it is the best
night of his life.

Kim tells Steve that they have to sort the problem. Steve says that he
doesn't deserve her. She agrees.

Chris tells Zoe that the Marchants are in it together. He sees his
deal going down the tubes.

An even more pissed Tara now upsets Biff by bringing back Biff's
memories of the last party, the engagement when Linda died.

Tara offers to drive John home. He is worried about the state that she
is in and says he'll call a cab. She says not to worry as the chief
constable is a good friend.

Quote alert
Steve "where are the passports?"
Kim "we won't need them"
Steve "but I've paid for the tickets."
Kim "that's novel"

Tara enters with John to make their goodbyes.

cue ads.

The Marchants find Zoe with coffee for a very pissed Betty. Sal pulls
Steve aside and is surprised to find that he has told Kim and is still
alive. Zoe tells Kim about Miss Jinks' appearance at the reception.
Kim says she will have to review security as the horse is worth a
fortune. (I see an insurance scam coming on)

Biff tells Marlon that he is leaving early to visit Linda. The
Marchants are getting in the car, deaf to Eric who is still trying to
get paid. Betty reminds Kim to through the bouquet which is caught by
Kelly.
Chris "who's going to be the lucky man?"
Kelly "I don't want 'em. See what they do for you." as she gives
them to a stoney faced Rachel.

The Dingles arrive home with Zak still slagging off Biff, who produces
the candle sticks as his 'holiday pay'. He suddenly finds himself
higher in Zaks' estimation.

We see glimpses of Tara and John driving home and Biff having a one
sided conversation with Linda's gravestone. Kim has an idea where she
an Steve can stay and we see Biff drive off on his motorbike. Tara is
now seems to be alone. (returning?)

Kim points an astonished Steve back toward Emmerdale he is questioning
this and only just avoids a head-on with another car-Tara!

Cut to a Range Rover in a ditch. Biff sees this and time-warps back to
Linda's crash.

Kim has directed Steve to Pear Tree Cottage and go in the back after
climbing the back garden wall.

A shocked Biff realises that it is Tara not Linda in the car:
Tara :"You look as if you've seen a ghost."
Biff :"I have."
She tells him to go as we see the police approaching, with blue lights
a blazing.
Tara:"Gooooood eeevening officers" (more like offishers)

Hey Continuity-If they are in the middle of nowhere how do the police
know where to arrive so quickly?

Episode ends in Pear Tree Cottage with Steve telling Kim that there is
only some smoked salmon and a bottle of champoo in the fridge. She
tells him to bring the champoo upstairs.

Kim :"it's our wedding night, and Steve you had better be good, you
owe me."

Steve :"I don't think that I can be THAT good!"

Do want the bad news? I don't know about you up there but we have
another extra this Friday.

Dave, does this now mean that you are out of synch with the rest of
us? surley ITV can't allow a network programme to run like this?

Because they always turn up when they're least wanted?
