If anyone is a Bay Area Sarah & Vinnie fan on 97.3, here is what they posted on
their webiste (http://www.radioalice.com):

"Alice would like all our listeners to know that Vinnie will no longer be a
part of Alice's Morning Show. Vinnie's departure from the station is for
personal reasons, and everyone here at Alice wishes him well.
It's been a great 5 years ... together.
Sarah will continue to be your morning show host along with a cast of
characters, including Hooman, Scott Capurro, Steve Mason, Kathy, and who knows
who else ..! "

anyone know the scoop? there's a rumor that he is an alcoholic and was sent
away to rehab..

Yeah, a substance of some kind apparently. I actually thought he was
having a nervous breakdown. Too bad. P.J. Corkery posted this at the
Examiner on 4/16:

Vinnie is the best part of the show. Without him it's The
View..(bleh), well maybe worse, with all their *chat* about babies,
and diapers, etc.
