Is their a way to switch what channel JVC uses, either channel 3 or 4?

I have a JVC HR-XVC30U DVD/Video player and to use it you have to switch the
TV to channel 3, but my cable box uses channel 4. Is their a way to change
the DVD player so it uses channel 4. Normally on most entertainment
equiptment their was a little switch to change from 3 to 4 but I can't find
one on this machine. Thanks.

Hello,
In my last VCR, although not a JVC, this setting was controlled by
software and implemented by pressing certain combinations of
front-panel keys with the power off. You might check your owner's
manual to see if something similar applies to your situation. Good
