The release-notes of kde2.2 say that there is multhead-support available
- but i'm not able to find the configuration options for this....
Where can I do this ?
I'm searching especially for the feature that windows only maximize to
size of the actual screen !

Ah, you too, eh? After a great deal of confused google-ing, I came across
the secret answer, which I now share with you:
The binary packages don't have Xinerama support compiled in! You need to
download the source packages for kde-libs and kde-base and recompile them;
pass --with-xinerama to the configure script on both.
Go take a nap while it compiles, then start up KDE. Go the the window
manager options, "Window behavior" icon, "Advanced" tab, the bottom section
is "Xinerama". Check the boxes and rejoice!
Now, if I can just figure out how to get drag-n-drop from the first screen
to the second screen to work, I can stop tearing my hair out... (Anything
dropped to the second screen ends up on the desktop. Argh!)
