I have launched a petition
<http://www.petitiononline.com/SWonMac/petition.html> to SolidWorks
Corporation asking them to consider porting their great SolidWorks CAD
application to Mac OS X. Please join, if you feel qualified.

Nice try, but at the moment SolidWorks Corp. should better work on porting
stability to their chosen OS platforms ;-)

HERE HERE!!

Qt is the proper way to go IMHO.

Learn about Qt here: http://www.trolltech.com/products/qt/

HEY SOLIDWORKS!!!!

IMAGINE THE MARKETSHARE THIS PRODUCT WOULD GAIN...

Unfortunately it would involve a massive rewrite of code. I seriously doubt
it will ever happen.

I am with J.R. on this one, give me a stable, fast product for windoze
first. On second thought, maybe making a stable, fast program for windoze
would take even longer than rewriting the whole code. ;-)

If SolidWorks Corp. only manages to return to a stable and fast SW release
by swooping to another OS, it will be fine for me. We already got mixed
networks with 3 different OSs. ;-) So come on SW no matter how you
achief it, as long as you do it !!!

Cheers J.R.
