There is no ignoring this perpatrator who is acting out his rage disease,

I don't normally get involved with these cross-posted strings but,
AMEN!

I'm a republican and I hate no one. However, I am tired of working
over 1/2 of the year for the government so that they can give it away
to people who have no desire to work!

My law partner's wife is a teacher in a public school who consistently
hears 12 & 13 year old girls talking about getting pregnant so that
they can get their own government check. What kind of warped sense of
responsibility is that? I waited until I was almost 30 to have my
first child because I wanted to be mature enough to guide her and
financially stable enough to support her.

I represent indigent clients for the state at a ridiculously low
hourly rate. These are people who claim to have no money so that they
can get a "free" attorney to represent them in criminal actions. Most
have nicer cars than I do and come in loaded with jewelry. Yet when I
ask them about a job, they have none. "I can't find one" . . .
Everyday I drive by stores with BIG signs saying "HIRING NOW!"

I don't buy the lie anymore. I used to be a democrat, but I got tired
of giving the country away.

I've got a feeling you really need to review your judgment of people. I
admit there are probably politicians out there who DO perform a show
when they're in public (maybe even the ones you mentioned, I don't know
since I'm not following US politics that much) but you seem to place
people in a category just because they are white, politics, ...
This doens't make you any better then some white racist lying
politician. Degrading other people is NOT the solution for this problem.

Now I admit their will surely be people who take advantage of the system
but does that mean we have to punish all those people who WANT to work
but CAN'T find a job or those who are too ill to work? What would happen
with all of you who share this opnion if tomorrow you have a car
accident that leads to you sitting in a wheel chair after undergoing
some pretty expensive operations. If you're not stinking rich then I
wonder where you're going to get the money from to pay for all of this
and how the rest of yopur life will look like.

I'm living in Belgium and here I pay about 46% taxes on my wage. I'm not
complaining about it since I know that when I loose my job I won't be
without an income and when I have to undergo an operation most of it
will be payed by our social security system so I don't have to worry
about loosing my entire savings over an appendicites operation. Now it
is very likely that I might never need it but it's a safe feeling to
know it's there. And besides of that, I know there are people out there
who DO need it and I'm glad it's there for them. Here there are also
people who abuse the system but I think it's far better to try to sort
out those people than to punish everyone. Makes me think about something
an American officer said in the Vietnam war when a soldier asked him who
they had to shoot. 'Shoot them all and let God sort them out' he said. I
don't know about you but I prefer to save the innocent. Just look as to
how you live and to how some others are forced to live. Are you really
that egoistic and greedy?

Besides that, taxes also serve other purposes than social wellfare.
