Hello,
After reading everyone's post on cars, who or which car company makes the
Hearse? It might be a very simple question, but I just have no clue. I
have several friends who have one (never looked at the maker). Does the
Hearse have new models each year? or did the car company (Ford, Delorean,
whoever) stop making them? Thanks for helping out!!
Bloody kisses,

Cadillac and Lincoln are the two main hearse manufactures. And yes each
year they do come out with new models, but if you want that old school charm
you want to go with the early 70 Cadillac edition.

herses are manufactured like limos

you take a base car (lincoln, cadillac, etc...)
and adapt it to fit your needs.

(look i'm in the right news group this time)

ooohhh on classifieds2000 was this fairly new hearse by cadillac (i think) for
only $3000! i'd have gotten it but my parents wouldn't appreciate that much
since we don't have a garage :)

Hi C-squared,
It is nice to see you on the right list (grin)! Anyways, I appreciate the
answers, it's one of those things that everyone knows except you (myself)!
I love cars (fast ones) and hearse's too so again thank you all!
Bloody kisses,

There were even Buick and Osmobile hearses...but who really makes them is not
the auto manufacture, as mentioned earlier but a coach builder or coach works.
Three of the most important ones for hearses were M&M, S&S, and Devider.

I'm still hoping to get a 63 caddy...someday

If you have any questions, try the "grim Rides" websight of the hearse owners
club in SF.( The only thing that irks me is the guy the has the most pimping
fire enging red hearse you've ever layed your eyes on bitches about it costing
him $3k... sheesh)

I'd also suggest anyone interested in hearses check out the Grim Rides site
it's at: http://members.aol.com/hearseq/grimrides.htm

There's a few web sites selling second hand hearses in the UK. Here's a
couple that might be worth a look:-

Or try a Volvo? Most of them resemble hearses, especially the black
ones.
