Hello Gang,

Long time no talk to. I hope you're doing well...happy, healthy, wise.
I thought I'd drop a note here to let you in on some current
happenings.

Jason Narvy and myself will be appearing in an upcoming episode of
PRWF...no kidding.

Thought we'd come back and put a final hoo-rah on our beloved wacky
characters. I think old fans will enjoy one last wink and B&S...before
we
fade away forever. (Well, I guess one can never say forever, can one?)

Although I cannot divulge any specific details on our reappearance, I
can say there might be some other old faces in the crowd...maybe. :)

Now on to more important matters. I request your support on my latest
endeavor...one which I am so excited about, I can scarcely find words
for
it.

Friends, I have accepted a position on a killer project. But-It's not
what you might think...it's a comic book. Well, really, it's a
"property"...let me
explain.

For the last 10 years or so...my good friend Chris Gossett (The
designer of the famed double bladed light saber) has been working on a
project
of his own. "The Red Star" is a cold war allegory that mixes magic and
cold war drama, but set in a mythical Russia...the style of this book
is
beyond compare. It is simply outstanding.

Let me tell you some of the history of the book, and then about my
part on the team.

Gossett's company, headed by the unstoppable Dr. Jo (Yeah, she really
IS a Doctor!)...has been putting The Red Star out for two years under
the Image Comics label. They have 9 issues out, and a Trade Paperback
containing the first 4 issues in one book...and the stuff really has
to be
seen to be believed. The art isn't just comic book stuff...it's fine
art, really. No heavy ink lines to kill the penciled look...the
characters have such
life and emotion. It's a very emotional book.

If you are a history buff, then you must go check this out.

Now...my part in all this? Well...some might remember my ORB
website...during my off time form MMPR, I spent many hours on my
Macintosh,
self learning 3D modeling. That coupled with some multi-media
directing for the Red Star Team make up my part in the book. You see,
we use
3d models in the comic by creating high detail 3D models of sets,
equipment..etc., and comping them into the book with the penciled
artwork to
create a stunning product that visually intrigues, and mystifies.
You'll have to check out an issue to see what I mean.

So, my first panel appears in Issue #9, which has recently gone to
print and should be hitting comic book stores sometime in June.

Hey gang, tomorrow is my birthday...so give me a present...JOIN THE
RED FLEET. Be part of the team....and YES, I'll be at the San Diego
Comic-Con with Team Red Star at the beginning of August....for three
days even. Then I have to come back to L.A. to rehearse a play I'm in
this
summer, "Animal Farm", playing at Theatricum Bottanicum in Topanga
Canyon(L.A. Area).

Come meet me and the team, and let us show you the KILLER Red Star
Artwork. Or of course, you can see it now...at our site. Keep in
mind...I'm new
on the team, so you won't see any mention of me on the site.(After
all, I'm just a 3D modeler, and the newest team member)...but you will
get an idea of the awesome power of
The Red Star.

"http://www.theredstar.com" click on the blue link if your browser
doesn't show the nav frame.

Old friends...life moves on...Jason Graduated with his Bachelors last
weekend...and he deserves a hearty GOOD JOB!. He made it, and I only
had to send him beer $ a couple of dozen times. hehe...

Hope to see you at the Comic-Con.

With humble thanks...

Cool. If any one can pull it off the right way, it's you guys. Maybe they'll let
B&S morph,
once. After all they were through, it's the least they can do. Now *that* would
be fun.

Now, you know most of the AFPR-ians won't read past here, but I will.

That's great to hear as well. I'm sure he'll do just fine, thank you. In a case
of life not
imitating art, the actors who played the two flightiest characters in PR are the
most
grounded in real life.

And, with ABC Family rerunning the old MMPR episodes, hopefully a new generation
of
fans will see how unique you two were. (They not long ago showed the
joining-the-junior-officers episodes)

Not to sound rude, but this is realy him, right? Not some imposter? There's
been so many rumors going around lately, I don't want to get excited over
nothing.

Hmm, considering Bulk is on Mirinoi, this is going to be some feat. But I'd
love to see you two again. :) Plus, I never did like how Bulk was on
Mirinoi, and Skull was on Earth. It didn't seem fair to split you guys up
like that.

Congradulations on that! I always liked your 3D models on the ORB.

WAY SWEET! I've gone to Comic Con every year since I was like, five, and
I've enjoyed it thoroughly every time, but wow.... it looks like this one
will be the holy grail. I don't mean to sound like a total butt-kisser, but

Wow this is gonna be some episode. Jason David Frank is pretty much confirmed.
Nakia Burrise, Catherine Sutherland, and Walter Jones are rumored, and now
Paul Schrier and Jason Narvy. With all these returning cast members does
anyone think it's possible for returning villains? I mean any villain could be
brought back by use of the Shadow World. I can't wait to see how the storyline
goes.

Thanks so much Paul for giving us the information, and even more of a reason to
look forward to this episode.

Well,

Now that Saban has ceased to exist as we have known it, there is very
very little chance of me appearing on that program. Old contacts are
gone, and it's been sad to see so many friends be forced into a

and Porto are the ones who primarily come to mind. Throw in the Space Base -
and, for the fun of it, Havoc's Chromite army - and you've got a secret evil
alliance. :)

Thanks for letting us know, Paulie. It'll be great to see Bulk and
Skull one last time. Will the Professor be with you guys? Hopefully
not. The duo is better than the trio (with the exception of Lt. Stone
of course).

Dude, that is so cool. Good luck on this comic! Oh yeah, and have a

Exactly what I was wondering. This sounds like something that could be a
one-hour special, but I believe that it will be an episode of WF. If
that's the case, I wonder what would bring the former Rangers to join the
WF team together in the first place?

Heck, maybe Rita and Zedd will be brought back via Shadow World and some
Zordon-era Rangers who obviously know them would help out the WF Rangers.

I see, I thought you doubled as a Animakaze VA, from seeing

ABC Family Channel....at some point certainly, but not sure when the

As for the question of whether I see disney's aquisition of PR as a
"bad" thing...no, of course not. The show lives on, and that's what's

Jen, I wouldn't even take this as full verification of what's to come.

It's as good as we have but it's not the official word from ABC and/or Fam.
With this being extremely confusing (and taking WAY too long to boot),
only the official release will confirm it for me.

But I wouldn't complain if it were to turn out this way.

Better for me? ABC Family. But, better for all? ABC.

Having Rita in the shadow world was a grievous mistake. I mean, how could that
be if
she were changed to her good human form by the Z-wave?

Unless, the Z-wave seperated the evil from the good and sent the evil to the
Shadow
World.

Oh, I'm theorizing again. Make me stop.

Work on your ability to insult, boy. This is reflecting poorly on you.

Let me explain this as monosyllabically as possible, so you can track it. Jacci
is not an employee of Power Rangers. She is someone who knows someone else, and
who has an ulterior motive for perpetuating an untruth. I do not necessarily
believe she would do this, but I am not discounting it out of hand.

There has yet to be a reliable source go on record pertaining to this JDF
episode. Do you understand me? No major sources in the fandom have broken it.
No confirmations have trickled down from employees. Not a word from an
infallible source to prove it's anything more than a hoax. And as such, I
refuse to accept it as the gospel you do.

Indeed, you are the opposite number. You believe in the absence of proof. That
this IS true, even though we don't have absolute evidence. What confirmation do
we have of anything? I'm elated to see Paulie posting around these parts again,
he's reliable. And he confirms Bulk and Skull are returning. But he's said not
a word about Tommy. We still have, at this very moment, no proof Jason Frank is
coming back to the show. Simply the word of a fan club owner. And frankly,
that's not an infallible source.

Do I want to believe? Sure I do. But what fricking proof do you have? I need
something tangible before I accept this. We've had thousands of rumors like
this over the years. What makes this one more than the others?

I'm not trying to insult you, boy. And I don't give a damn what you think of me
because I see nothing reflecting poorly on me. Get that? I know Jacci is not an
employee of PR. But she has posted that she's spoken to JDF and that he
confirmed it. You say there has not been a reliable source go on record. Well
his mangement company did. Do you understand me? Don't tell ME what I believe
in when I see his management company confirming it as proof. If you do or don't

I never constantly respond to everything YOU say. Only when YOU direct comments

And as far as Amit goes. HE`S THE WRITER! A writer NEVER gives away

looks highly legit) from happening to Amit.

You conveniently left the first part of that line out of
your response:

Better for me? ABC Family.

That's not being insensitive or
uncaring in any way. It's nothing more than a result of the specific
circumstances of living in the suburbs of Washington DC and having an ABC
affiliate that shows ONE of the 10 Saturday morning shows at its scheduled time.
Five shows get moved to earlier slots on Saturday and one gets moved to Sunday.
Three are not shown AT ALL.

But, my cable company still offers the Baltimore
stations and the ABC station there at least shows all 10 on Saturday. Of course,
five of them get moved to 4:30 a.m. to 7:00. If those moved shows aren't on a
one-week delay, I'll happily deal with PR on ABC. Heck, I might just get to see
it before everyone else!

But, there's just way too much animosity and "you
don't care about me" going on here when we don't even know what's going to
happen.

Let's at least wait for the announcement. It's already been two months,

There are
too many people looking for it to have gone un-noticed for THIS long. Me, Matt,
Batman, you and I'm sure an equal number at AFD, and a boatload of news sites,
especially ToonZone.

It's not out there. As hard as that is to believe.

I'm
expecting the BearZords to show up on the side of a milk carton any day
now.

ABC has scheduled a meeting with its affiliates for July 10 in Chicago,
where there will be presentations from all dayparts. Sounds like that's the VERY
limit of how long they can hold out before they HAVE to give up the goods.

We
can wait them out. They haven't had to deal with Theo.

There is absolutly 0 chance of ABC doing that. The ratings for 1SM are very
bad. There's no way they'd ever do a weekday lineup. And why would they,
since Disney and ABC Family are part of the team?

Ever wonder just why the ratings were so bad?
Just about every one of the shows in that block were animated teen
dramadies, a animated step up from NBC`s satAM block.

Now lets see, whose making a killing with cartoons this year? KidsWB,
why? Not just because they do have some decent programs there,
and not just cause they have a whole week of promotion spots, but
bassicly cause there isn`t anyone to contend with.

Disney already will be in the number #2 spot on cable for kids
cable choice for action and animation, the first being CTN...why not
go further and try their luck on the non cable viewers?

The ratings for 1SM are very
> bad. There's no way they'd ever do a weekday lineup.

Theres nothing but Daytime Drama & Trash TV on abc afternoons, some
kids don`t even know to watch ABC saturday if they don`t see an
add on cable...having a weekday lineup would fix that..

Garfield
The Magic School Bus
Sister, Sister
Full House
Charles in Charge

No. Because they have crappy shows.

And you're right about weekdays. There's no one else on broadcast to compete
with. But you have to realize that the kids market doesn't make a whole lot
of money with so much competition. Really, you just can't make a lot of
money out their in the kids market.

This is what I think, if all, I mean ALL of the rumors are true (in
which I seriously doubt) then power rangers is nearing the end and if
they all come back it should be a story arc similar to MMAR about 8-12
episodes explaining and tying all loose ends and a mega-monster that
would require all the rangers stated and it would probably involve the
other rangers even if it's just voiceover work and one more thing
bring back Zordon he probably created every power there was including
the lightspeed, time force, and wild force powers now that's a legacy!
