This free-with-any-Dylan-album offer is now in HMV's UK stores (got mine in
Oxford Street, London).

Not as exciting as I'd hoped though.

Tracks 1 & 3 were on previous CD singles or Freebies I have. I'm sure
someone out there will know the source for "Blowin'" which sounds a lot
earlier than the other two..

The tracks are:

1. Million Miles (Binghamton, 19 Feb. 1999)

2. Blowin' In The Wind ("location and date unknown" - so much for
Columbia's record keepers)

3. Blind Willie McTell ( Wantaugh, NY, 19 Feb 1998)

The better news for those UK fans without all the official albums is the
heavily reduced prices on most of the Dylan catalog in HMV right now - some
at Ł4.99, many at Ł6.99).

See (some of) you in Brighton & Bournemouth.

Probably 3-16-00, but I couldn't say for sure without hearing it.

When you say 1 & 3 were on other freebies or singles you have, do you
mean other live versions of those songs, or do you mean those exact
performances? If you already have the performances, could you tell
us on which CD singles or freebies they were on?

Also, could you post the runnig times on these tracks?

It could be Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, Santa Cruz, CA, 16 Mar 2000,
from the limited edition bonus CD single given away with The Best Of
Bob Dylan Vol. 2 in the UK, May, 2000 - I'll know when I get hold of
the single

>3. Blind Willie McTell ( Wantaugh, NY, 19 Feb 1998)

Another stupid mistake! It's actually 17 Aug 1997, from the Love Sick
CD singles, Europe and Japan, 1998, and on the Australian Tour Special
Limited Edition of Time Out of Mind

On several CD single the dates of Blind Willie McTell and Born In Time
were switched, Born In Time was from New Jersey Center for the
Performing Arts, Newark, NJ, 1 Feb 1998 (not 19 Feb).

Just to repeat my earlier posting:

1 Million Miles - live, Broome County Arena, Binghamton, NY, 19 Feb
1999, from the 1999 promo CD single Million Miles: Live Recordings
1997-1999

3 Blind Willie McTell - live, Jones Beach, NY, 17 Aug 1997, from the

Love Sick CD singles, Europe and Japan, 1998, and on the Australian
Tour Special Limited Edition of Time Out of Mind

If Blowin' is also from CD singles, it will be from Santa Cruz Civic
Auditorium, Santa Cruz, CA, 16 Mar 2000, from a limited edition bonus

CD single given away with The Best Of Bob Dylan Vol. 2 in the UK, May,
2000

Another possibility is:

Ice Palace, Tampa, FL, 30 Jan 1999, from bobdylan.com, Jun 1999
