Now that I have heard about this, I would like to change my plan for gay-supportive (hetero) allies to wear pink triangles to show their solidarity. This was inspired by learning, years ago, of the Danes sporting stars of David on their clothing, to protect their Jews.
My new plan: all straight folk who consider themselves staunch allies of us queers...should start walking with a swish, whenever in public. That will skew the radar surveillance significantly.
In fact, one may soon regard a straight person who does *not swish, as enemy!
