The 6381 is actually a Honeywell unit manufactured by Leviton. It
supports leviton extended dim but not the newer group dim. I've created
an ActiveHome fast macro (i.e., macro is loaded into CM11 memory). This
macro simply sends a 40% dim command to the 6381. When I run the macro,
the 6381 goes directly from off to 40% as expected. However, if I
subsequently use some/any other transmitter (e.g., TM751 or an XPT) to
send an OFF command to another module (e.g., a lamp module) on the same
house code, the 6381 turns off unexpectedly.
If I instead create this same macro as a 'standard' macro that runs from
the computer, this problem does not occur. The results are the same if I
recreate this same scenario in HomeSeer. A workaround is to add an ON
command that is sent to the 6381 as part of the above macro.
This seems like a CM11 problem? However, I haven't ruled out that the
inexpensive Honeywell branded 6381 is the culprit.
Anyone else observed this kind of behavior?
