I've got three KODAK PRECISION extensions in my Extension folder:
KODAK PRECISION CP1,
KODAK PRECISION CP2, and
KODAK PRECISION ProfileAPI.

I'm skeptical that I need them all but I don't know which I can
remove. I think at least one of my programs complains if I
remove them (possibly Photoshop).

What program(s) installed these?
What programs use these?
What can I get rid of?

Photoshop. The Kodak Precision Color Management System is used by Photoshop
when you acquire PhotoCD images. The Photoshop PhotoCD Acquire module will ask
you for the PhotoCD source and destination color profiles when you bring the
PhotoCD images into Photoshop.

If you don't use PhotoCD images, you can get rid of all of them, plus the
"KPCMS" folder and all its contents.

I got it in Photo Deluxe with Umax Astra 3400 scanner and Epson printer.

Kind regards

You're correct. Any program that includes the Kodak PhotoCD Acquire module will
install the Precision API.

However, it is not used if you don't work with PhotoCD discs. Anyone who has a
program that installs the Kodak Precision color management system but who does
not use PhotoCDs can safely get rid of the extensions and their associated
precision transform files.
