Anyone know a way to get at an NTFS system via Floppy disk boot. The
emergency repair disk and StartUp disks don't give me access to
anything that resembles (or functions like) a DOS prompt. I need to
change restore just 2 files on the system: (MSVCIRT.DLL and
MSVCRT.DLL).

In article <59jaeb$8...@whitecliff.sierra.net>, ste...@sierra.net says...

The software that you are looking for is called NTFSDos and is a filesystem
redirector that gives NTFS access from DOS. The problem is that it is currently
READONLY access to the NTFS partitions. It can be found at www.ntinternals.com
