I am on my second M105 within 1 week.

The problem was that the screen goes out of synch big time at the bottom
left corner, this cannot be rectified by re synching the screen or a hard
reset.

I have read somewhere that this is a common problem with the M105 but when I
asked today in Dixon's when changing my 105 the girl said mine was the first
one they had returned.

I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem and if there was a
fix other than exchanging the unit.

Cheers,

Paul

My first m105 took about three months to develope the problem you describe.
I've spoken to several other people I know locally (Middleofnowhere,
Indiana, US) that have had the same problem, and the only cure any of us
found was an exchange. Sorry I can't give you a possible handy cure, but at
least now you know you're not alone :-)

I went through two of them with this problem before I got a good one and I
ended up loosing my stylus and flip-cover from the original because they
neglected to tell me I wouldn't get them back when I sent the unit in for
repair. After waiting a week we got a refurbished unit back with no stylus
or flip cover. It was worse than the first one for erratic screen digitizer
problems and I immediately sent it back too. I then got another unit after
waiting another week. They sent me back a refurbished unit that had been
previously registered to someone else 9 months ago. Real Sweet Deal. After
I finally got one to work properly they tried to charge me $26 for the
pleasure of their inept customer service and faulty products. Needless to
say I have purchased my last Palm unit.
