Does anybody have any idea when the new TransFormers cartoon series will be out? I heard that TF:Generation 2 was going to be produced as a three part series around Feb. 16, but that it might be cancelled and just part of the new series in September,
If this note looks poorly typed, my computer terminal is on the fritz. Sorry
Any help is appreciated and thanks!

A friend of mine photocopied an article from some TV magazine and the gist
of it was this: The T-formers G2 is not a new show, it will simply be
old episodes redone with upgraded visual effects. It will be shown on
Saturdays, starting in September. The effects are supposed to be some
kind of computer enhancement visuals that are not specifically explained.
Hopefully, this will lead to a decent animation company making more
episodes!

Well, at least that would mean the old Transformers shows would be
on the air again in some form...I for one would love to see them.
Of course, if they ever DID a new Transformers series, what I would
really love to see is a full-blown G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover.
They exist in the same universe, as evidenced by "Snake"'s appearance
on Transformers. I would love to know WHY the 'Joes have never been
called on to fight these "evil giant robots," or the Autobots have never
had trouble with Cobra.
