WWPF '97 Update... The Guest Speaker this year will be......

As many of you know, one of the highlights of the Wild West Pinball Fest is
the Wild West Banquet on Saturday night (May 3rd). As if the sizzling Brown
Derby steak dinner wasn't enough we give away a *shitload* of prizes and
present our annual "Guest of Honor" who weaves tales of Pinball for the throng
of Pinheads in attendance.

Over the years we have featured Presentations by a veritable "Who's Who" of
Pinball Luminaries including noted Pinball Author BILL KURTZ, technical
Wizards TOM CAHILL and JOEL COOK and yes, even the pinball Madman himself...
TIM ARNOLD has graced us with his famous tales of pinball Do's and Dont's.

Last year we had the pleasure of Honoring STEVE KORDEK for his
incredible 60 years of service to our beloved Industry. There were several
hundred people present who will NEVER forget that evening as Steve reminisced
about his Life in Pinball... and the spontaneous standing ovation he recieved
afterwards was as warm and genuine as anything I've ever witnessed.

In keeping with our tradition, we would like to announce that the Guest of
Honor at this year's Wild West Pinball Fest will be...

*** GEORGE GOMEZ ***

Many of you know George as the talented designer of games like CORVETTE,
JOHNNY MNEMONIC and the new NBA FASTBREAK... but his carreer as a game
designer goes way back to the early '80s with his work on the TRON and SPY
HUNTER video games for Midway. In between these adventures were numerous
other games, toys and even Redemption pieces that George has brought to the
Coin-Op field. The Industry is blessed to have his talent and experience on
board now, more than ever as Pinball attempts the great rebound to it's
former glory!

We invite YOU to come join us at the Wild West Pinball Fest banquet with
George and several hundred of your closest Pinball friends for a great feast
and a great Pinball weekend!
