Ok, well, first, does anyone know where I could get, purchase, purloin,
borrow, or otherwise aquire the radio shows in STEREO?
Ok, second, and this for Douglas Adams specifically: who is your maiden
aunt who lives in winnipeg. the reason I absolutely must know is... yes,
you guessed it... I LIVE IN WINNIPEG!!! and that line from the first of
the gently books has been driving me insane ever since I read it!! I'd be
REALLY, REALLY thrilled if Douglas responded to this himself!
What else? well, I was a bit disappointed in the comic book. especially
where they cut the big god proof following the babel fish. That was sad.
how could they do that?
Also, Were the books released in Canada the same ones released in the UK?
if so, then I think I have first editions of all the originals. I also
have the radio scripts. in fact, there's very little I don't have, and if
anyone can think of anything I might need or not have, please let me know
what it is, if it's available anywhere, and where to get it if it is. One
thing I've always wanted is the towel that marks&spencer put out.
Anyway, enough of my babbling for now. please, anyone, reply!!! I prefer
personal mail 'cause I don't check the groups regularly, and also 'cause I
can't quite figure out how to find followups to my posts!! Oh, and BTW,
I'm logged into my local unix machine from a mac pb180. I just thought I
should share that.
TTYAL!!

I don't have maiden aunt who lies in Winnipeg. I was making it up.
Best,
Douglas Adams
London, UK
Ah. That would explain why, when I went round Winnipeg visiting
everyone called Miss Adams who was over 50, in order to try out
certain key phrases such as "Don't Panic" and "Life... don't talk to
me about life," I was arrested very quickly.
