Kebugcheckex question

Hi all,
After looking on Google and searching the last 2500 posts here, I am
looking for information on,
Kebugcheckex: called by c002ab3b
Error code is 44
Parameters: (This varies) d8617e40 0 0 0

Can anyone help me with this? My searches came across references to a
problem with a USB scanner. I do not have a USB scanner. I have a
USB CDRW that has worked fine for well over a year now without the
blue Kebugcheckex screen. I did install, just before the Kebugcheckex
started, a HP Deskjet 648C printer that is USB.

HP and the manufacturer of my pc, claim not to know about
Kebugcheckex.

BTW, my pc is a 1.3gig P4 with 256 ram, running windows 98, original
version.

Can anyone help me with this?

Apparently you have a driver problem. Try uninstalling the
printer.
