Hi Folks,

I'm a guy from the Netherlands and I'm a very big fan of Weird Al Yankovic.
I made a forum for those real fans. You can find it at
http://weirdal.no-ip.com/phpBB/

Bermuda is also around there. If you come visit the board you'll probably
notice that there are not very much topics. This is correct, the forum had
been up since October 31th 2001. Please enjoy your stay there.

I'll also will be around here. I like to meet other fans from Europe!

There's another Dutch fan who calls himself Phoenix. He got busy and hasn't
been seen much around these parts but he may still be lurking out there [Hi

Even if you don't like web-based forums, this one works VERY well, and
is pretty fast. I use a few other forums like it, and I definitely
prefer it to the typical "message boards" out there... which is why I
agreed to do "Ask Bermuda" there!

Yeah, I saw that! That's pretty cool that you are doing that! I agree it is a
more user friendly board than this one.

Seems cool enough at this point!

I'm enjoying your forum as young as it is, which leads to a question
that's popped into my mind about your forum. It's like only 2 days
old, so - how can you possibly have frequenctly asked questions?

Hi,

I want to tell you guys that the forum is really starting up now. Within ONE
day we've had 37 brand new members! Great!
Second of all I would like to use this to tell you about the way things are
working on the board.

We have several moderators on the forum (including bermuda and myself). We
can do anything with everything on the board. This includes:
-Edit/Lock/Move and delete topics.
-Edit reply's
-Edit/delete/ban users by their IP adres

We'll warn people who are misbehaving the first time,
The second time we give them a ban for a week.
The 3rd time we give them a ban forever (well, after 999 years the ban is
gone :P )

We will call you a misbehaving person when you:
- Post illegal links to MP3 files, Videoclips, Porn, warez and games.
- Create topics that aren't ontopic with the idea of the forum
- Make reply's to others with going completly offtopic without a warning in
the reply
- start to call names to other people that aren't nice to them.
- start to discriminate.
- start to make Weird Al look like a yerk. (e.g. A reply or topic with the
text 'Weird Al Yankovic sucks' will be deleted and the user gets a warning.)

We have the following moderators:
WHiZZi (Admin), Bermuda (super moderator) and insoft. Perhaps we will take
new moderators in the future. But before you'll get a moderator, the current
moderators have to approve.

I hope the forum would be a great and happy place to be.

Obviously. BTW: Your forum seems to be down at the moment.

So you don't have any need to do that yourself.

All I did was ask a question to you (and it wasn't even on your forum,
it was on a supposed unmoderated forum (AMWA). What "people" are you
talking about?

My forum is still working here :)

Correct. I'm not always available

People that are know as trollers or spammers. Or people that are behaving
bad on the forum.
Or people that are know by several others and warned me about them.

So it seems you've (successfully) blocked me. So should I assume that
you've also deleted my posts (which were on-topic (and non-flaming),
for AMWA's info)?

> People that are know as trollers or spammers.

Even if they aren't (in reality)?

Only the nut that tried impersonating Steve Jay fit into that
catagory, when I read your forum. The Al-team knew to behave itself.
Congratulations, Al-team!

> Or people that are know by several others and warned me about them.

So because several others know someone, you ban them? What kind of
forum is that?

I didn't delete any posts.. I never saw him..

If they really aren't, the won't be banned.. But as far as I understand it
from other people....

Uhm. When I've got 2 private messages on the board, 3 emails and 4
messengers, I'll probably go and check some things out.
And if Bermuda tells me to ban a guy, I'll do it without a doubt. But now
Bermuda give bans himself.

Who's "him"?

What other "people"? A gang that's sitting there simply for the
purpose of an 'appeal to populatiry' with intent of silencing an Al
fan (myself)?

Well, it wasn't me bugging you.

Well, if Bermuda did it, let's just say, the next ALbum is gonna KICK
